Boring. Just a mindless isometric shooter. The visuals are cool, but that's about it

I was enjoying the gunplay and the movement a fair bit. But at some point, I spent more time getting frustrated at navigating this map than having fun shooting things. Enemy variety is lacking, and I found the most common enemy type to be the most annoying one: the guys that float and blow up. I briefly liked the game when I got the levitation ability, but after spending 10 minutes looking for Ahti in the coolant pump sector, I was done. The first 2 hours were pretty flawless. The story was incomprehensible, but I was willing to put up with it because I was hoping that eventually, things would become clearer. Spoiler alert: they never did. This game also insulted my intelligence by making me do a pretty straightforward puzzle (with the symbols and whiteboards. If you played the game, you'll know what I'm talking about). I knew what I had to do, but it required a bit of running around because the whiteboards were spaced out. Every 20 seconds or so, Marshall would bark something at me like "I tHiNk tHe WhItEbOaRdS hAvE sOmEtHiNg tO dO wiTH iT" and "hE hAs tHe sOluTiON wRiTteN dOWn hErE soMEwhErE" like I'm a fucking lobotomite. Ever since that moment, my experience has been soured, and despite putting another 2 hours into this game, I won't be coming back.

It's honestly pretty fun. I didn't play this game on launch, and I know it wasn't so great at launch. But as a Battlefield game in its current state, it's pretty damn fun. Though I hate that they constantly try to sell me the battle pass when I boot up the game

A very trippy puzzle game that plays tricks on your perception. It also has a good lesson behind it on problem solving. I'll definitely be thinking about it for a few days

Boring slop. I couldn't play this game for longer than 30 minutes at a time without falling asleep

2019

I don't know what I'm doing, my thumb hurts from mashing A to fly, and the camera has spazzed out on me a few times. Very unpleasant experience. Even the action-packed opening couldn't keep me playing to figure out wtf was going on

It's too difficult too soon. I appreciate that you can retry bosses right away, but I'm still not willing to suffer through it

2021

It's an ok point and click adventure, nothing exceptional. The art is nice. I don't like how long you have to wait until you can make another input if you missclick. It's a nice game for young kids, but unfortunately, I'm an adult

It's alright. The mini games got a bit repetitive at some point and the story didn't blow me away, but it was over fairly quickly, and some interactions with the insane amused me

Pretty flashy rogue like. Reminds me of Enter the Dungeon, but a bit easier (which is a good thing. ETG is too difficult imo)

Meh. The platforming is mid, and the visuals suck. The 2.5D aesthetic isn't doing much to help it. Getting performance dips on my Steam Deck for some reason

I thought the shadow mechanic was really cool and unique, I don't know how they pulled it off. Sadly, the gameplay is dull and I don't care for the story

Can't bring myself to sit down and finish it. Maybe I will some day

I don't have the patience nor desire to beat this game unfortunately, but I can appreciate it's uniqueness and quality despite that
