This game is essentialy a short visual novel disguised as a cute and very nice looking pixel side-scroller with a side of puzzles. Really enjoyed the denpa elements. Story overall enjoyable. Good ending requires a bit of gymnastics to believe but it has the merit of existing.

As far as metroidvania adjacent games go, the controls and platforming are pretty clunky in this one. The bosses are alright but the parry mechanic is kinda underused.
As for the soulslike aspect, I did not enjoy the religious flair and general atmosphere of this game . Some of the questing is overly tedious and does little good for the enjoyment of what few storylines the game has.
