In hindsight I think I understand why a lot of people don't care for RE3, It's one of those games where there are multiple ways to percieve it. Am I going to pretend the alley ways are engaging and an essential use of your time? no. But I will say that so much is done immediately that I end up loving the whole experience regardless. Pespectives that don't think the game lives up to it's potential are justified. But I think thematically because the game starts you in the middle of a crazy situation. I'm able to really feel the tension here, at all times. It's no wonder it is one of my most replayed games ever.

Cons: you have to experience the same set of levels with slight variations 4 times
Pros: you have to experience the same set of some of the most fun levels in sonic history with slight variations 4 times

I know a lot of people don't get this game. Just because you don't get it, doesn't mean it's overrated. A lot of the criticisms I've seen of it, are not problems with the game but rather stuff that doesn't cater to their taste.

The non annihilation nation wave missions: oh go figure in a game that is literally combat focused, there will be some repetition, that's just any shooter ever made. Also you get the gimmick of spinning the crews before the enemies are shooting near one and it's not even as repetitive as everyone says it is, since you get new ways of dealing with enemies, just because you don't understand the design intent, does not mean it is a problem for the game to have.
Also it's NOT a platformer, fine if your going to say it's worse off for it, that's an understandable view to have, but the original two games had PLENTY of problems that are just as damaging.

there's the complaint about this game being linear, except that's not what people actually mean, they are upset that it feels like you walk one set path of a planet with a more limited scope. Now to a degree, I can understand this, I think it was able to pull off what WAS there quite well though, especially since it feels like it's just the main meat and nothing else, with nothing to drag down the pacing and the combat really makes these planets fulfilling and satisfying to play, it's also NEVER mindless thanks to being on the harder end at times.

I will admit that the aesthetic of SOME of these planets are bland though. The game LOVES orange lol (I still wouldn't say it's piss looking like mega Man X7) more just middling

Qwark minigames get criticism from some people, but I think they are a really neat and thoughtful (and even maybe memorable) platforming game, yes it's easy but it gave me a kind of unique perspective of what they could get out of the concept. And they don't outstay welcome to me.

Very little I disliked, The only planet i was somewhat underwhelmed by was Aquatos, because the sewer seemed to repeat itself a few times, even that almost redeemed itself later on.

I will not admit anything. I can assure certain people, I find very little of your complaints hold weight to me.

It’s very good! Wish that all of the gameplay, exploration, and puzzles were as good as its stellar sound design and art direction, which is some of the best I’ve seen in a game

At its best, it's a mediocre action rpg with boring loot, limited character progression, dull levels and clunky combat. But at its worst (i.e. most of the time), it's a potion-chugging slog, where most of your melee attacks whiff right through tanky enemies that stun lock you to no end, and bosses with poorly telegraphed attacks that melt your health bar in seconds. The Forgotten Realms lore is there, but it's absolutely not worth the trip.

Stray if it was good. This is what happens when you actually stick to a vision instead of blowing your entire budget on Sonymaxxing.

It's a delightful mixture of Untitled Goose Game and Goat Simulator–with a little Breath of the Wild for good measure–wrapped into a delightfully dense, vertical, but manageable open world.

While the controls are a bit janky, it's hard to complain when the game purposefully lacks friction and instead gets by on the strengths of its exploration, tone, and quest design.

Super cute, sometimes funny, and usually pretty wholesome chungus. But this is definitely a game by people who actually understand cats. I remember soyfacing extremely hard when I came across a cucumber, and the cat jumped 16 feet into the air.

It's concise, confident, and a great way to spend an afternoon.

Going from this to the last game only really showed me what a jump in quality there is between the two games. The varied animation, the more detailed environments, even small things like being able to make zombies stagger or Leon/Claire's slowness when on low health, all of this makes for a fantastic sequel to an iconic horror game. I still believe the 2019 remake this knocks this one out of the park but it was really nice to revisit this after 8 years since I first played it and was quite delighted with how well it held up. Definitely one of the most solid entries in the franchise still.

them showing master chiefs face at the end no lie made me so pissed im docking .5 stars off my score

Definitely not even close to as good as Super Princess Peach, but decent enough I guess.

A cute, mostly fun, mostly easy game that has weird moments of frustration due to unclear mechanics. It's very short too, but I can see a kid really enjoying this. I'm sure this'll be one of those games that younger gen z/gen alpha will look back on as a nostalgic "underrated gem" or something. The final boss was a nice little spectacle too I guess.

Admittedly, the best thing to come out of this game is more Peach art.
