Childhood memory, cult classic.
Don't buy the Steam version, it's an unauthorized distribution and the revenue will not be shared with original developers.

+ Story: The main storyline is not that absorbing - some side quests are actually worthier to play. Amazed by the new game+ easter eggs.
+ Graphics: Spent much time in photo mode. Starry skies made me speechless. Also enjoyed checking every detail of spacesuits, texture quality is pretty decent.
- Dialogues: Facial animations are terrible, smiling looks like crying. NPCs just stand still forever and camera angles never change. Might be acceptable 10 years ago, but how can I bear this just after finishing BG3?
- Space exploration: Hollow and boring.
- System: Needs many usability improvements. Wanna revisit a place in your favorite side quest but forget which galaxy its in? Good luck finding it from thousands of planets!
- Performance: Noticeable frame drops in crowds. Several game-breaking bugs wasted me hours.

I admire that they perfectly replicated the original feel using new engine. Good ol' childhood memory, good ol' pay2win.
