This was the first game I ever pre-order and counted every second of it. I'll never forget how fucking mind-blowing of a jump this was for me and the opening movie was a real hype inducer. I payed for price for a premium demo and I was dissatisfied with the content at first but free updates were plentiful and free cars and tracks were it's at. The game now actually has a rather decent amount of content especially for the price and even has a VR mode which is awesome and it's more offline friendly than 7. I put like 500+ hours into this and I loved it all. This is a great game although still very much a demo

This is oh so close to being perfect. If it wasn't for the game being tied to life support online even if the game is mostly offline. Like you lose access to your garage and split screen if the servers are down or you can't connect to internet. Which is absolutely ass and makes the game dead once the next comes out unless they patch it. And it didn't need to be this way. You could he mid campaign doing a race and then have Australian wifi just drop for a second. The entire game freezes boots you to the main menu and then on top of that the game can't save. Why. It's actually crap. THAT ASIDES. This games really a virtual museum. The love and detail in the cars of this game is far higher and finer than anything else. Just like gran Turismo used to be. They are pioneering in the details. The photo modes are so deep and adorable. The modes are plentiful and lessons on tracks are very welcome. The liscensing is really user friendly and although there's more of them. They're done in a particular purposefully way teaching you many more unique corners and such. Each car is just full of actual detail no more premium and standard car bs. Even select cars you can have bring to a cafe and get the original designers or engineering lads comment on it. The game fills you on so much history of not just cars but nearly everything? Like it's got a life summary too which is cool. The upgrades are the deepest they've been and come with more descriptive descriptions and finally car livery editor in a main title. The rare cars are a little price gougey and I'm especially not a fan of the top up wallet Promot whenever money is brought up. Microtransactions strike again. But I do really highly recommend this game for learning about cars. On its history or how to drives. It's a lot of fun and patience is so highly rewarding

Man. This somehow had better performance but worse screen tearing? Improve the loads times and menus but is missing a bit of that style? The artyon senna tribute is awesome and having the percentage of profit go to that institute is cool and this game has a moon short mode?!?! Which is really cool. Liscense is done easier here but structured really smartly. This game forces you to buy a Honda jazz at the beginning which kinda sucks but mm. It's odd I feel like this isn't a big of step as I would've hoped and almost could be sold as a rerelease 5. There is more cars but you'll see even more ps2 models. And there is a boatload of content and more so than the 5th entry but the overall game definitely feels the most rushed? Also the course maker is now being relegated to a phone app which is cool but requires the servers to be online which they are no longer. I felt bittersweet finishing this marathon and I had a good time. But most of me is very happy they got to spend as long as they did for 7. Good racing game but it's definitely aged the worst with 5

The platforming isn't deep but it's tight. Really tight. The challenge is super well designed and high. Only so many steps are safe and the level design is the real charmer here. Absolutely a bangin'good sweet short time. Not the dark souls of platforms

This one's a odd one. It feels next gen but like it's dated the most out of them? The loading is astronomically the slowest in the series. The rock solid performance isn't any more and it tears so much. 80% of the cars are based off PSP/ps2 car models. Tracks are lacking some character or audience. Yet it's very ambitious? There's a lot of neat events and things to do and see here. Customisation gets another good bump finally colour changing although cumbersome. Photo shoots have these wonderful 3d environments and stuff. It looks quite nice performance aside. Finally cockpits. Used car dealers suck now tho? It's odd. The campaign is good fun and paced rather well with its variety of tracks which this has pllllewwnty of but the level system? Is odd not great but not awful. DLC cars really hurt this title cause they've been removed completely to be purchased yet the models exist in game. Top gear test track is in this. The game has a course maker although not that great. Idk it's really mixed. Certainly a downgrade in overall polish from 4 but I did start here as a teen and my first grab Turismo I bought and I'm happy I beat it. Still a good game although frustrating in areas it doesn't need to be or matter for some people. Still a great little museum of cars although old models against ps3 models look weird

Now to be fair these games are actually higher than the stars I've given. The stars represent my feelings towards the nsnane trilogy

2 hours of good shelling time. Go play it 6 player co-op onlines fucking good. Extra shit to do and it's just gorgeous. Have fun

What a solid little platformer. I like the funny stealth sounds. Characters are cool but the level design is the coolest

Yeah. The honey moon phase is sickeningly sweet and unique. I beat these game 3 times within the week it released . Insomniac made every decision right although I think most could agree the story is kinda uninspired and takes forever to actually see some villians. Swinging yes feels fucking great but requires 0 skill to participate in. Combat is fine but even more basic then the Arkham games it's copying. The list could go on but you get the point. A lot of choices were catered for the larger audience. Stretching it's accessibility to even people who've never played a game or own a ps4 which again in the big picture was the right move. Who doesn't wanna play the prettiest Spiderman game ever and oh wow it's so easy to enjoy and when at the time console exclusives were only just starting to hit the main mainstream. I can't really fault for how basic the game is but replaying it makes it less and less enjoyable on each playthrough. Combat gets tedious. Open world structure is basic and story really isn't that special. It's all together ok tho. A fine Sony mid blockbuster also holy shit no-one shuts up which is like my pet peeve with modern games

This was pretty good. Made mostly good improvements to the gunplay and levelling is actually done very well suprisingly extra content is in abundance. It doesn't do everything perfect and the first things do some better still. But this probably has the single best new game plus in any game ever.

This was fucking fun. It doesn't quite get a perfect score due to its a little lacking in content? But like it's probably the most fun I've had in 3 hours in a while. Full of great animation and all the fights were fun to find all their exploits. Hope to see this series return again

Very much peak racing. With its problems I agree with it probably has the least for me personally for how many things it gets right. 700+ cars for a ps2 and over 50 tracks gives it a large replay value. The selection of cars are varied and a fair few come cheap through the returning used car sales. Probably got the best legendary cars with like 1 HP mobiles and stuff. The music is delightful and the presentation is mind blowing for a ps2. While the game is a bit slower to load the gt3. It's a lot faster than its sequels and it's impressive for the system and now. A great starting point for anyone wanting to race although the physics go for a more much Sim feel. Like a massive leap forward where I almost recommend a wheel is necessary. But man it's just a good time sink. Probably peak of the series even tho you still can't paint ya car lmao. This game is great and I'm having a good ass Time with this series. Also they added town of people and crows and they even have pit animations:)

Completion of this game would take a 100 hours. The fucking leap from 2 to 3 is the biggest and probably best for any sequel for any game. The cars feel a lot of fun and still accessible. Tracks are at 18 which is less than 2 but thankfully events put them in reverse more often. This has probably the catchiest music in the series for me and gods above is it a fun time. Sure there's a lot less Cars but it really just wows me how good it looks today. The nostalgia one for me. Didn't finish every race but I did get to ending a whole doing some long championships. Lack of tracks make it not the best one but still one of my favourites. This game is so damn mood

A very large improvement over the first. So many cars holy hell. Like brands from all over the world divided into different cities for you to visit each with its own theme. It's cool as hell seeing the level of detail put into just the cars descriptions and getting to compare the difference in prices between regions. Each car brands have brand specific races as well. Getting to see tons of concept cars as well to buy is cool as hell from a game in 1999. Yamauchi wanted players to have wide selection of cars to buy from. Anything inbetween cars you might already own, looking to buy or dream stuff that's never obtainable. And man the driving is heavily improved. Tons more tracks and races as well. Even if they got rid of qualifications and the economy is a little exploitable and some races the ai outright cheat by having cars over th power limit. It's still a bit improvement over the original. A really damn good time worth a try also the discs are scented like a pit lane

Fairly awesome start to the series. It's interesting how arcade like it is. Lot of fun with its flaws. Mostly Japanese cars with some western cars. It's a rather valiant effort all things considered. Very detailed upgrade system and its cool as hell seeing how much this one introduced such as used cars and all. All in all very short and groovy racing Game. Ai sucks ass
