I understand that I probably shouldn't be judging this too seriously, but the puzzles are too easy and the commands too clunky. Still kinda good for what it's supposed to be.

Very nice and enjoyable short (~80 min.) puzzle game! The aesthetic reminds me of portal (with less genocidal ai), while the idea is similar to some other little indie games (for example mekabolt). I could really see this made into a full game!

Nice little game, finished in twenty minutes.
Crashes when you finish it for some reason LOL.
All in all a good 20min experience.

Cute little puzzle game, but way too short and non-replayable.
To be completely fair it is replayable, but it is not really worth it, at least in my opinion; after an hour and a half I got bored.
Regardless, it is still a nice and fun 30-60 min game.

Very cool and fun short platoformer! Definitely recommended!
Some interactions are not immediately understandable and sometimes the switching / similar colors and the quick movement of the screen make it very difficult to understand what is going on, but it's ok in the end -also because the respawn time is EXTREMELY short, which is very satisfying!-

Cute short game, finished it in about 46 minutes.
The puzzles are easy but satisfying, there are some interesting and fun mechanics; too bad the best one was saved for the last chapter, though I would say it makes sense given the way the different mechs are introduced.

A very fun, short platformer!
The only thing I "didn't like" was that I never got accustomed to the dash distance, but that's a skill issue on my part.
As for the rest every level was fun and very doable even in hard-mode, the quick respawn and easy-but-not-trivial readability made it feel a little bit like Celeste to me.

This game is a MASTERPIECE.
Every piece of design (visual, sound, gameplay, ...) is perfect, exception made for a couple (I can only think of 2 actually) segments that I did not really enjoy as they weren't as clear and intuitive as the others. I say this because in general you never receive prompts on what you should be doing (at least with difficulty in auto-mode, haven't tried different settings) and you have to "guess" (even though you are given hints in a particular and very fitting way), but it is usually very clear or rather intuitive, which is not true in those said segments.
That said the combat, the narration and the art are spectacular!
The combat in particular feels extremely smooth and satisfying and I loved every encounter! (To be completely honest I should say like 99%, one in particular could have been very cool but felt... off, imo, but let's round it up).
In the end though the absolute best part remains the game-feel and the atmosphere, which create an incredibly immersive gaming experience.

I was going to leave a somewhat harsher review but then I saw that the game was made ENTIRELY by one guy so given that it's a pretty good game!

GOOD THINGS
1) Very interesting and fun boss fights! Absolutely loved them!
2) You rely heavily on weapon's abilities to progress through the game and that pushes you to try and experiment with every one of them

BAD THINGS
1) The minimalistic color palette is nice, but it sometimes makes it hard to understand the environment
2) As I said you rely heavily on your weapon abilities, but:
a. You can only equip two at a time, being able to cycle through all of them would be better imo
b. There are only about 5-6 (there are two bows but you forget about the first one once you get the second)
3) The game immediately sends you to NG+ once you beat the final boss
4) The passive-ability level up system is kind of... useless? If I understood correctly you get a "level up point" (atonement) only after defeating bosses, which is ok, but it means that you get at most about 10 (If i remember correctly), while:
a. There are 9 basic abilities (+ 2 special ones I think?)
b. Every one of them has 5 upgrades, but to upgrade one you first have to upgrade all the previous ones

I have to admit that there might have been huge hidden areas or something that I didn't discover (because I wanted to explore more after the final boss), so let's say that the review is only about the main game and might not be complete.

What I mean by entirely: game design, programming, art, animation (at least that's what end credits say)

Why does it download a zip file?

very cool bosses!
didn't really like levels 2-3 (I think?), since I don't really enjoy the ✨waiting✨ gimmick

Whoever designed the last bossfights needs to be hired by Fromsoft istg

Sublime. Truly one hell of a trip. Worth every single minute of playthrough.
