Visually appealing game with a fitting soundtrack and simple gameplay. The story was thrilling but the game was a bit short. DLC's that continue the story are planned though and I look forward to them.

Over 10 years ago, I always watched my older brother play games on his PC. He also introduced me to gaming in general and this was one of the first games I saw him play. I don't remember much but this game and its soundtrack were stuck in my head for many years until I started playing video games myself on my parents' computer. As Cave Story is free to download, it was the first game I played and I enjoyed every minute of it, even though I didn't understand much of the story.
Since then, I replayed it a few times and I never got bored of it. Furthermore, I am also grateful for it as it popularised Indie games which in my opinion feel more personal and made with love than AAA games.

In my opinion the best Pokemon game. The pacing is pleasant and there is a lot of content even after beating the champ. The soundtrack is also amazing
