World of Light was a really good celebration of videogames, even if it was via JPEGs. Finding ways to unlock your favorite characters here is awesome.

Played this back in 2009, but I'm finding out now people don't like the orphanage stuff in the first couple chapters? That whole intro really sold me on who Kiryu was and what he was fighting for - till the end of his story
Yes you may not enjoy the quantity of cutscenes, but they really are the best cutscenes in the series and I will never skip them.
The combat was honestly so fun and satisfying the whole way through. I guess many people went into this as a shooter when I approached it as a brawler.
If you go onto any review on YT, their main complaint besides Hallway will always be how battles are just press X to win - when in reality it's L1 and X smh (I really like the combat)
