Edge of Time is Shattered Dimensions but nearly everything is worse. The combat has worse enemy variety, the upgrade system is extremely stripped down and there's less combos to unlock meaning things get repetitive very quickly. The dodge mechanics are way worse and they didn't even bring back the lock on for enemies for some god forsaken reason. And there is so much padding with keys to unlock doors and tentacles blocking your path all the f ing time.
However, the story is pretty cool and has a lot of interesting concepts. Atrocity is rad as hell and fighting an evil Peter in a suit that looks like a spider is pretty sick I'm not gonna lie. Peter and Miguel's constant clashing is some good shit.

Replayed this recently and there's a lot to love about it. The art style is really good, the music is surprisingly decent and has memorable tunes. The four Spider-Men all feel fun to control and Ultimate and Noir are the clear highlights of the game. There's nothing more badass than playing as an edgy Spider-Man beating up an old man who's also a god damn cannibal. That's rad as hell.
However the combat is a bit underwhelming, there really should have been more combos and fun moves to pull off but there really isn't a whole lot of moves to do. The air combat especially is very limited. And the enemies can sometimes be really annoying and extremely tedious, you can tell in the later half of the game that they ran out of unique enemy types and start repurposing them into different models.
This game is a fun time but it feels really undercooked.
