HORROR GAME RECOMENDATIONS

If any of you is eager to get into the horror genre of videogames, here are a couple of horror games which I think you might enjoy. (STILL ADDING)

Alan Wake
Alan Wake
Some wouldn't call this a 'horror' game, whilst it utilizes it's psychological horror element tremendously, followed by it's gratifying gameplay. It's a fun and cool experience.
Alien: Isolation
Alien: Isolation
'Alien Isolation' can offer some of the most stressful and nerve-wracking moments (well at least it did to me). The Xenomorph alien in the game exhibits a level of intelligence and unpredictability that sets a bigger challenge for the player, making it equally terrifying and amusing.
Amnesia: Justine
Amnesia: Justine
By the same creators of 'SOMA', 'Amnesia' has probably some the darkest and most terrifying atmospheres I've seen in any game. This is what you would call one of the pinnacles of 'Shitting bricks'.
Chasing Static
Chasing Static
A well made indie horror game, which presents a good narrative and a nice aesthetic for us PS2 horror lovers. It may seem a bit excessive with the size of the map and confusing with it's vague gameplay, but it's a nice experience that is worth a try.
Cry of Fear
Cry of Fear
Emos are gonna love this one.
Darkest Dungeon
Darkest Dungeon
A nice game to play with your friends at night. Both challenging, stressful and fun. With its gothic horror style and it's brutally fun gameplay, I think this deserves being mentioned in this list.
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
I Have No Mouth, and I Must Scream
Based on the Short Sci-Fi Post Apocalyptic Horror Story, made by Harlan Ellison. Gameplay wise, there is nothing to it, but the game's premise is what is gonna leave you spooked.
Iron Lung
Iron Lung
Don't expect anything from gameplay. It's the atmosphere and the concept of it that's gonna leave you shaken to the core. Wouldn't say it's one of the best ones here but it's really terrifying if you have Thalassophobia.
Killer Frequency
Killer Frequency
The game's visual design is mesmerizing to look at. A recent one I've played and I liked it a lot.
Observer
Observer
Probably a very controversial game. Although I consider it Bloober Team's best work and easily one of the most underrated games ever made. Cyberpunk mashed up with Se7en.
Oxenfree
Oxenfree
Another game which some can't consider it a 'Horror' game, but it posseses a lot of scary moments. Also has some of the smoothest and exciting storylines in any indie horror game I've played. It doesn't feel tedious once. It can easily be finished in one day.
Parasite Eve
Parasite Eve
All of you Survival Horror Lovers are definitely gonna love this one. Apart from it's insanely good gameplay and the boss fights, the game's soundtrack is also enthralling, and you're gonna enjoy watching the story unfold.
Pathologic Classic HD
Pathologic Classic HD
One of the best ones here. A masterful psychological horror that disturbs the player's mind. Apart from the creepy wandering around town, it should be noted that it's writing shouldn't go unnoticed. Fantastic game.
Silent Hill
Silent Hill
I think this was obvious. My personal favourite horror series. Silent Hill masterfully immerses players in its eerie and unsettling atmosphere, a testament to its exceptional use of 3D sound. You're gonna fall in love with this series.
Soma
Soma
A game which eventually led me to my existential crisis. A thought-provoking game with its ingenious use of environmental storytelling. If you loved the Bioshock series, you're gonna like this one.
