Fun and challenging game with great skill ceiling. You need both brains (for mechanics using pychsics) and hands (for execution). Gameplay variety is limited but stage variety was awesome. There were cool places all around the world such as Windy City, La Tomatina, Ruins, Temples, Hollywood studios, inside a cargo plane (looking at you Uncharted) etc. Ghost Town was one of my favorites. And there's more... It has level editor and community makes great stages, increases replayability.
My only nitpick was menu and progression felt confusing. Other than that, what's not to love?

Once you start the game presentation is top notch, starts with a very artsy graphic novel-esque video cutscene and transitions to in-game cutscene very smoothly. In-game cutscene is well directed and dubbed too! Setting is very interesting, glad to see 1950s, retrofuturism like Bioshock Infinite. Plot is interesting too like in Half-Life Gordon is a scientist but due to circumstances he turned into a soldier, our character is a firefighter turns into a soldier. And invasion reminded me of Half-Life too! It's like "Seven Hour War: The Video Game"! For gameplay, game uses touchscreen well and from the first level it started with 3 cool weapons, then second level started with another cool weapon.
I was confused on how this game is not talked about and had poor reception. Game kept being good on later stages, Bridge level was a stand out moment for me. However at the end, Conversion Tower level felt bland and lazy. I mean it's truly the Half-Life of Vita, it fell off like Half-Life fell off in Xen levels. Game starts to shove special ammo to your throat at the end but difficulty wasn't increasing at all. There are bigger enemies but there are mines to blow up and oneshot them everywhere.

The best football simulation to date, disastrously marketed as "Season Update" despite having significant improvements over 2020. It was review bombed as "lazy update" just because of the name, shows how clueless the critics are...
My only complaints are manual aimed finesse shots are unstable and there could have been more camera (Broadcast cam) and game speed options.
