Probably one of the worst VN's/story i've had to sit through.

Not only is the overall feel of the game clunky and slow cause of the baffling decision to make it in RPG Maker, Klace's "storytelling" is at its absolute worst (not like it ever improved in later releases). Even worse than the contrived, uninspired story are the character writing, not ONE is interesting enough for me to care, they just waffle on about your mysterious, unexplained power or about personal troubles that is obnoxious filler. Doesnt help over half of the characters are the kickstarter backers fursona's, joined by Klace's own fursona too for the equivalent of a $700 art collab. The one upside is that Klace removed the $22 FUCKING DOLLAR price tag in 2021 and made a free version, so the only thing you are wasting is your time

The OST makes me forget about the atrocities i've committed in my life

I would sacrifice anything for this game to get a re-release for any platform, more people need to experience how gripping this games story was

2003

This game shaped my music taste, that alone makes it perfect. And thats without mentioning the amazing crisp gameplay, fun customizable characters and having gorgeous snow covered scenery that you can gawk at during the "All Mountain" free ride mode. A massive staple in my childhood

This game wears its inspirations on it sleeve and feels like a love letter to them more than anything. Sure, the cheesy, awkward dialogue may feel off to some people, but looking past it is a well told story and fleshed out world, seen through the frame of a cheesy late night drama

One of the first turn based RPG's i played as a kid that made me fall in love with the genre. This game has some real quality behind it that shoots past its age and limitations.

Convinced myself after all these years everyone who had played this game just experienced some group hallucination, like no way this actually existed. At least a couple covers bopped and the gameplay was pretty playable

A classic I remember playing a lot as a kid. Had an interesting world/story, combat was pretty stiff and janky but had a great combo system that allowed you to chain up to 10-20 hits in a row.

Really happy to see a Jet Set Radio revival, though I wasnt super blown away. Everything feels so floaty and it feels like half the time im totally out of control for combos and movement. Story was pretty neat and the overall design and soundtrack is phenomenal (Get Enuf and Feel The Funk carry SO hard)

Pretty addicting deck building tower defense with a neat aesthetic and cool soundtrack. Its difficulty is lacking and its extremely chessable, but to make up for that it has an endless mode with a leaderboard

This game is so refined as a turn based RPG. Lots of build choices with tons of weapon and armour variety, lovable characters that have only grown in depth as the series progressed, obv NoLegs is the best companion of all time and so much content in the main story and post content. An actual must play for any RPG fan!

This game is beautiful to look at, like half of my playtime was gawking at the clean sprites and animations. The timing based combat is refined and the love of Chrono Trigger and Super Mario RPG shows. Its accessibility is another thing to note, as if you are new to this style/genre of game or are having a hard time, the game has relics to soften the difficulty and even help with timing and breaking casts. Loved my time 100% this game and its amazing to see it get the love it deserves

Goodbye Volcano High was a surprise hit for me. I found the writing and pacing very clean and eased you into its story very well. The characters are extremely likable and for the audience the game tries to reach, relatable (Sage is extremely precious). On launch it did have some performance issues and graphical glitches, but overtime they have released patches so its looking good. And I have to mention the fantastic soundtrack, done by the same guy as Dwarf Fortress + Fang's VA from the game, certified rock bangers with an enjoyable rhythm game section to pair with them

Cute little platformer with fluid movement and a great art style. Also has a vibe of a soundtrack Found some of the courses and jumps felt off to execute but could be just a skill issue. Has extras upon collecting all the cranes and hidden collectables so i'll be picking this up sometime to 100% it
