if Ratatan is anything like this, it will be game of the century. This game essentially took everything good about Patapon 1, and expanded on it, while fixing all the issues that it had as well

Extremely bland JRPG with boring gameplay, but the real reason people play this game is extremely uncomforting, doesn't help that the main character really didnt need to speak like holy jeez he says/does the most out of pocket stuff at any point during the game

After my first run I dont feel compelled to return any time soon. I found the controls really janky and while the world and its creatures being "extra smart" is neat, felt like they were just set to extra aggro on your current position more than anything. Game looks and sounds pretty though was super impressed by its presentation

This game's enjoyment for me ramped up as I got better equipment, so the slow and monotonous beginning was infuriating, constantly having to complete quests and grinding exp. But as soon as I made it through Blighttown, I mean the third layer, I found myself understanding and enjoying the game more. Its story is whatever, cool that it was overseen by the manga's author but the original story is leagues better by every merit.

This game shouldn't have been made lmao. It feels so rushed together to make something more out of the shocking success of the first game. It's gameplay is agonizing and boring, with these awful hiding sequences that if randomly popping up where you have no hiding spots, will outright kill you. The story is non sensical, with a new main character I dont care about, fleshing out a world I already had 0 interest in. It also relies way too much on loud noises and jumpscares to make up for its lack of atmosphere, and speaking of loud noises, the audio mixing is horrendous. I had the game volume low for a reason, and the game had sound effects that still played at full volume.

Garbage "To Smart For You" game that tells the most bog standard story that doesnt value your time and 500 ipad puzzles isnt enough for a $40 game. Only good part is the timed challenge at the end but the fact some of those puzzles randomize into unsolvable puzzles is so awful. Fuck Jonathan Blow

Insanely crisp RPG made by the same studio that would go on to develop Super Mario 3D World. One of the first JRPG's I played growing up and I remember not being able to put it down, the standout parts are its really good soundtrack and fun as hell combat. Hoping this game and its prequel gets some revival in the future

Finished the first episode and am intrigued to see how the story unfolds. Love the games presentation, from its music to creepy, foreboding atmosphere to how awesome the sprite art looks. Have very high hopes for what's to come if the first episode starts off this strong

Never understood the hype surrounding this game, very convinced youtubers made this game look more scary than it actually is, though at least I can appreciate that the environments do look spooky. Like sure being chased/jumpscared the first time gives you that anxiety jolt, but every other one is frustrating at most. Also i pity people who bought this + the DLC for full price, there are better horror games for less out there

You're telling me a cat note this book?

This remaster really doesnt do a whole lot, while it does look somewhat nicer than it did previously, the game is still awful and painfully slow to finish. I dont see the reason for remastering this game, as it never needed one, it needed a total rehaul of gameplay over graphics

I really loved looking at this game, its style is amazing and the setting is done extremely well. Your bike feels pretty good to ride throughout the wasteland, but I felt so frustrated during combat and gameplay loop cause it just wasnt what I expected. That being said the bosses are the main highlights combat wise. I also didnt enjoy all the back tracking and blind exploration I had to do.

The Xenomorph knows where it is at all times. It knows this because it knows where it isn't, by subtracting where it is, from where it isn't, or where it isn't, from where it is, whichever is greater, it obtains a difference, or deviation. The Director AI uses deviations to generate corrective commands to send the Xenomorph from a position where it is, to a position where it isn't, and arriving at a position where it wasn't, it now is ripping your face off.

A fun interactive movie of sorts with extremely stiff and at times obnoxious controls, but that is trumped by an amazing setting and story that just keeps getting more fleshed out and wild as the games go on

Definitely isn't for everyone I feel like this game will invoke something different for everyone that plays it, but giving the game at least one playthrough you'll find an immensely creative game with wild and provocative graphics, with a soundtrack that not only has vibes, but bangers as well and a narrative that lets you soak in what it says and lets you come to a conclusion of what it all means
