It's tough to choose which Silent Hill is the best one, to be honest I love 2 and 3 equally, they're both absolutely outstanding games, but I'm choosing 3 just to be different because I do love it as much and it's the boring answer to say 2.

Same as previous. This really is amazing though, I never get tired of it.

Not as great as 2 and 3 but still very great. I love the first game to bits. Except for that instant kill trap in Nowhere, it can go fuck itself. I never fall for it because I did once and I always absolutely make sure to put the ring there, but what bullshit. Don't take the item from the fridge unless you have the ring, put the ring on the chain and then take the item!

Not nearly as good as the first 3 but still a damn fine game. Yeah the escort mission, it's not that bad but it woulda been better without it. The new mechanics/combat system are not great but not bad. It's still great. Would never skip it in the yearly Team Silent playthroughs I don't plan but am compelled to do.

Definitely the best of the Post-Team Silent era. I don't care for how it's supposed to be a remimagining of the first game cuz character names, Cybil being a cop, and "Harry looks for Cheryl" are the only holdovers, but on it's own it's a decent story and decent game.

Not that bad but still not very good. Has a lot of interesting things it tried to do, didn't do them very well, and has a lot of awful ideas too like shoving in expanded universe shit like the dumbass postman from the shitass comics. Lots of technical issues too, if you play this do with a 360 copy on a Xbox Series X to improve them.

Mediocre, unnecessary prequel that gets several things wrong(shows Alessa fucking up the town herself as if it's revenge for one, she never did that it was all out of her control and she was trying her best to stop it the whole time), decent combat but the breakable weapons suck(same for Downpour). Kinda cool monster designs thought, The Butcher notwithstanding.

Undoubtedly the worst in the series. Dunno how anyone likes this crap, I hope you were just young when you played it and have a nostalgic attachment to it preventing you from accepting how bad it is. Otherwise you just got shit taste, man.
