its okay, combat system is a little too simplistic and just made me think "why am i just not playing an actual jrpg"

this game has the flash jump from maplestory so its already the goat

overall check this out (especially if you like stardew), its a great farm sim, the jrpg elements work super well in this context, also unlike stardew this game has both attractive male and female romance options

absolutely amazing as an artpiece, but as an actual game it falls a little flat, play it for the god tier art and music

the custom sprites in this game are actually so cool, adds a lot of spice to gameplay to see all the wacky ass designs that get introduced

crazy how video games peaked in 2002 and nothing else has come even close to this game

honestly one of the best open world games i've ever played, the ff5 inspired job system is incredibly fun to mess around with too

extremely fun way to play picross, definitely want more games using this style

while vib ribbon lacks much built-in content, it does have an adorable and creative artstyle, simple but fun gameplay, and a phenomenal soundtrack. while i can't test the custom track feature (due to playing on emulator and not wanting to deal with the messy process) the game gets mad respect for having a feature like this all the way back in 1999

also both vibri and the tutorial itself are so cute omg

A really fun game that is a huge step in the right direction in terms of gameplay, story, and QOL features, a shame the game performs terribly and has loads of glitches
