Quite an enjoyable romp but, not nearly as good as other 3D Marios. It is aesthetically nice but, not super memorable and a lot of classic Mario moves don't feel as tight or fun to control. Post game is massive though and there is a lot to enjoy here for platforming fans.

My friend emulated this shit so we were giving it the benefit of the doubt in how fucking horrible it was running but apparently all the numerous issues happened in the "optimized" versions as well. This series is such a fucking joke. This is practically unplayable in how horrible and underbaked it is. If Ubisoft or EA released shit this unfinished it wouldn't have nearly as much as fucking 3.5 AVERAGE RATING ON BACKLOGGD WHY
This is a fucking 33 YEAR OLD SERIES spanning 17 FUCKING GAMES and 1000+ CHARACTERS. DESPITE ALL OF THIS, NILS IS THE MOST USELESS PIECE OF SHIT FUCKING UNIT EVER. Hes so fucking bad its not even funny no matter WHERE i put him he gets one shot by the weakest shit and THERES A MAP where no matter WHERE YOU FUCKING MOVE HIM he WILL die because he cant survive ANYTHING so in this case i got fucking softlocked at the end of a map cause him dying FORCES you to turnwheel or gameover. Whoever thought making him this weak was a good idea needs to be fucking fired immediately preferrably killed by a firing squad. Micaiah WISHES she was this fucking pathetic. Its not like hes some awesome glass cannon because most of the time HE CANT EVEN HIT AND WHEN HE DOES IT BARELY DOES ANYTHING. You know what? Fuck just Fire Emblem. This game is a lot of fun with tons of fun and well thought out ideas. Problem is, it is still lacking a lot of that for 20$. The developer is dropping lots of good updates but it isn't enough yet. Like all the other comments said, this is the game I wish I had as a kid. Also, I appreciate how the game encourages you to experiment with the achievements.

It is well-made. It has great graphics and is incredibly smooth but, it is just not for me. The game becomes super repetitive and grindy and stringing combos together isn't interesting enough to keep me wanting more.

Danganronpa V3 is probably one of the most disappointing games ever made. The amount of wasted ideas is staggering and it is really upsetting, especially considering how well done the first two games were. It had everything in place to be good too. It had great set-ups for mystery, unique characters with great designs, wonderful music by Masafumi Takada, and so much more. But, every chance it got was squandered. All the cases were abysmally ruined by something whether it be characters acting with zero logic or the mystery element itself making zero sense. This applies to all the chapters (except 4 which was good). The ending is the most controversial point of contention with this game but, it still has tons of problems regardless of just that. However, the end IS truly symbolic of the overarching theme of this games problems; brilliant ideas but a failure to execute.
