Entirely worth the wait! The first Psychonauts was my childhood and this did not disappoint at all. It did everything the first game got right but 10x better; the levels, atmosphere, characters, messages, etc. An overall fun ride that makes me want to replay it again and again!
This game is what Square Enix’s Avengers game should’ve been, and it’s sad it has been overshadowed by that. People assume another Marvel superhero game by Square Enix after the Avengers is bad, but I beg people to pick this one up. It had me laughing and crying. The atmosphere felt so real, with the characters feeling so close and more accurate to their movie counterparts. I really enjoyed it and I hope it gets a sequel.

Overall, I don’t think this game is horrible. The 30 FPS and price tag leaves a horrible aftertaste in my mouth, but besides that I really did enjoy it and don’t think it’s fair to compare it to the Arkham games when they’re by a different company, and I do hope this game gets a sequel. It has the potential to be better.
