It's a hard puzzle game, but you get to deal with an incompetent sleaze who "cheats" on his girlfriend. It's peak though. All you really do is slide blocks to climb up to the top, and the rest gets worse from there. It's somehow really satisfying and addicting, but easily frustrating. The story was pretty good, and there are different routes you can go depending on your choices. Graphics are akin to ATLUS's Persona 5 since Catherine came before the hit RPG, it's very familiar but somewhat still clunky. The music overall was solid, I would definitely listen to it regularly. I'd highly recommend this if you want to test your brain out while controlling a sleaze's relationships. Can't wait to play Full Body!

A really nice DLC with new twists and turns for every boss. I didn't get to play as Chalice much but her character seems pretty fun to use.

So far it's good for a Tactical Strategy game. The graphics run really well on here, the story is semi-generic but still enticing and the gameplay is interesting.

Pretty fun with friends, a good take on the horror co-op genre (if there is one), got it for free on april 1st.

This DLC was a trip. A big trip. Time Played in the review is for both Rain World and Downpour btw. 5 (or 6...) new and creative slugcats that all have their own objectives. All of them were really fun to play as. The DLC also adds more zones which can be nerve-racking at times. The story was great to piece together and figure out as the characters are well-intertwined with one another. My favorite slugcat, and overall campaign out of the 5 was Artificer, as their mechanic gave a lot of movement options and resource management. If you ever choose to get Rain World, please get this as well. It's almost necessary for the full experience. Can't wait for "The Watcher" DLC next!!

This was during my free trial. It was overall alright. I liked the music that accompanied most of the battles, the bosses were somewhat difficult and it gave me challenge to learn my class properly (Black Mage FTW for now). Story was decent, had characters that were likeable. A well-needed revive to the MMO itself.

I really cannot decide if 4 or 5 is better. Yakuza 5 brings back fan-favorites and introduces new characters to straddle a weird story, but a good one nonetheless. It follows 5 main characters who each have their own play in the plot and portray their struggles passionately. I felt invested in each part, even though some of the gameplay felt a tad repetitive at times. Also, they had all their own locations to explore through, instead of the same ol' Kamurocho the other games are used to putting the protagonists in. Graphics were a small step up from 4, simply showing progress and limitations of the hardware it was on. Music was enjoyable, but I wouldn't exactly go back and listen individually, still memorable. Although, compared to the other Yakuza games, this definitely felt long. Twice the amount of hours compared to 4 on my playthrough, but I also did some small side stuff. Although, the length really reflects the passion they put into this one game. I'd totally recommend this once you finish 4, just remember to pace yourself a bit, as this is way more enjoyable if you do the side things that 5 offers.

For something that uses the "Vampire Survivors"-like gameplay, this BANGS. HARD. Picayune Dreams is a game where your brain is stimulated sound-wise and your hands are probably freaking out with the controls. The music is breakcore (in my opinion, goated OST) which is fast-paced and matches with the intense situations that the hordes of enemies create while you attempt to fight them off and pick up experience with the growing arsenal of weapons every run. What makes it stand out of the crowd is the occasional switch to a boss battle that changes Picayune Dreams from a bullet-heaven to a bullet-hell. While I do wish the bosses were somewhat randomized, they are in a certain order for the story. The story is expressed through small character dialogue and the GameMaker-esque segments that are earned after every boss that have heavy themes. The whole game is just addicting to play. I got the Normal Ending for this, but I will replay it to unlock everything. Please play it. It's only 4 dollars on sale, 5 dollars on Steam usually.

A really solid Zelda game. I loved Ocarina of Time since it was my childhood Zelda game (even tho I didn't get past the zora temple as child link for 7 years im not kidding) and I got frustrated with Majora's Mask as well until I revisited it in 2019. It's definitely got a lot of depth and length with so many events happening over 3 days. Music brings an iconic vibe (cuz it is), Graphics are in the same style as OOT 3D (makes sense with the originals being that way), Gameplay is still good. Only thing I didn't like was the 4th Temple's boss (because I only had 9 hearts close to endgame). Play it after OOT!

ok i finished it anyways: Persona 3 Reload is a faithful and modern remake that Persona 3 deserved to get after 18 years of the original and 13-15 years of the portable release (not counting the port to modern consoles last year) truly showing age. Story stays the same but some dialogue does get changed which doesn't conflict with the narrative at all. Graphics, compared to the original, are literally day and night with some physics based and facial animations adding to emotion with the high quality models. Some models might be reused from Persona 5 such as the passerby but it's irrelevant to the overall quality. Gameplay gets a new touch to the dungeon part with Sellables (Able to collect in Tartarus and sell elsewhere), Theurgies (Ultimate Moves, like Showdowns in P5) and Monad Doors/Passages (extra dungeons within Tartarus). More interactions and events are added within the school life such as cell-phone texts for reminders of social links, computer programs that unlock moves in Tartarus or increase social stats, and the ability to spend time with your teammates to gain new traits that add to Theurgies (also can raise social stats, gain items, etc). The music is mostly great, and while with every game that Shoji Meguro composes, I find the music to be amazing, Reload's a little bit off. The new singer, specifically for Mass Destruction -Reload-, Burn My Dread Last Battle -Reload- and Memories of You -Reload- just don't hit the spot for me compared to the original. Other than those nitpicks, she did really well with Color Of Your Night, When The Moon's Reaching out Stars -Reload-, and others. The visual theme of Reload, compared to the original, is also brighter but does portray dark elements really well. I'd highly recommend playing this if you are new to the series or are a 3 fiend, like me since this was my first one. also i missed scott the woz's social link so i don't have a plat on it >:(

So far a really good Monster Hunter game. Will play more later.

The hype was not a lie. This is really fun and challenging, even with friends. Graphics are outstanding (as expected of a 2024 game), music somehow doesn't get sickening at all and the gameplay is addicting, to say the least. Barely any backstory but your main objective is simple: Protect Super Earth and Liberate Planets. I think it's a nice touch that you unlock difficulties through leveling since as you gain experience with shooting through robots and bugs, there's always a harder difficulty to try out. I hope they add more stratagems and maybe other modes (likely not going to happen with the planet structure)!

A really good tie-in to the first three Kingdom Hearts games (KH, Chain of Memories, 358/2 Days) in terms of story. Gameplay was more fast-paced and fun than the first Kingdom Hearts with the addition of Forms and more Character Summons. The pacing was alright with having to go to other Worlds more than one time and I didn't mind the Gummi sections much. Overall a really well-done game, even for the PS2's time in terms of graphics!

Finished this in 1-2 hours, I think. Spent the rest of the time afk'ing so I could flex abt it, gave up. It's an alright dating simulator, decent promo stunt tbh.

No, I didn't enjoy it. No, I didn't 100% it on an alternate account because I was ashamed to have it in my steam library. No, I didn't run a second playthrough on my phone. I totally didn't gush over Absa's route. What the hell are you talking about? Why would I ever play this game? It's not like it's related to my favorite platform fighter of all time..
