the original Japanese release is just such a gorgeous package... from the philosophy of the game to the art design to the soundtrack... it's just so special and such an original creation in the world. Mother 2 is probably better but Mother has some essence to it that sticks to my brain

the music, puzzles, and design philosophy are wonderful
in the us we got the perfect British isometric greatest hits game and we didn't love it enough

harvest moon polished to perfection is such a simple but brilliant idea
climbing up this bizarre city and transforming into three classes... maybe its pure nostalgia but i think about this one a lot
