Great foundation. Parts of it far surpass the first game despite still being in developement. Others (example being currently available boons and weapon upgrades) feel much worse. Waiting for the full release, it's promising and I'm hopeful but I do worry about the combat being worse than part 1

I usually don't like shooters but this one is exceptionally fun and deserving the praise it gets

A good foundation and a cool spin on the [explore environment riddled with monsters/ghosts etc. with friends]. Sadly in my experience it was riddled with bugs and the game starts to feel empty after a while. What I found annoying is the objective of the game opposing personal fun, every time you want to film a funny moment you have to remember that it gives you less available time to complete the game objective - filming monsters. With efficiency needed for later quotas there is less possibility for goofing around. This one is just a personal gripe and I don't think it can or should be necessarily fixed, but I still wanted to acknowledge it

Great at showing how good proximity chat is in a multiplayer horror game

Too easy to learn some mechanics that you shouldn't have learned. Sometimes it works out great, sometimes it's just misleading, sometimes it robs you of potentially great moments. I also missed the text translations a lot, I think it was one of the best things about the main game

Good (but not great) until about lvl 80, then it becomes boring and aimless. Lacks build variety, achievable chase items, interesting crafting and most importantly interesting high-end content (easiest example unique bosses). While I believe those problem are fixable, hearing about a paid DLC less than 6 months after launch I am 100% sure it will be another case of a fine game ruined by activision greed. Sad

They ruined syndicate I'm gonna fucking cry
