Wow, so fun. Mr. X is so scary, I feel my heart racing whenever I hear his footsteps.
The world feels somewhat smaller than the first game (although maybe that's just because there's fewer loading screens). Never got stuck on any puzzles and only lost to bosses a few times, so I'd say it's overall a kinda easy game. And the story felt really slight. I assume a lot of these issues come from it being a rather faithful adaptation of a PS1 game. Overall, I can see myself returning to this one and trying to get all the trophies.

WOW. Never played any Resident Evil before and this really seems like the perfect title to start with. It can seem quite punishing, but also so rewarding when you figure something out or progress to a new location. The atmosphere is top notch, and you really feel the desperation of just wanting to SURVIVE long enough to make it to the next point. Excited to see where this franchise goes. I only finished one playthrough with Jill, but I'd like to go back and do a Chris run at some point once I've taken a break.... but hopefully not too long of a break because I don't want to forget some of these secrets.
