PUBG is ever-changing, but the infatuation and initial novelty of a horror-thriller title skinned in a large scale multiplayer, modern-day military aesthetic is something that has and will continue reverberate for quite some time.

A perfectly fine puzzle game, Pneuma is a fun and charming distraction of spectacle that takes an afternoon to complete.

Mass Effect 3 takes 1 step forward, and about 60 back. I don't really care about the ending and had it spoiled years before I ever touched the game - From the start, the story is the emotional equivalent of a limp noodle. Mass Effect 1 and 2 had me hooked to completion - I took about a month break in the middle of Mass Effect 3.

On a technical level, Dracula's Curse is the greatest of the original trilogy with unmatched visuals and best-in-class soundtrack. Holding back this entry are ideas that exceed the capability of the hardware - Castlevania III is almost too bloated for it's own good.

A fun, if shallow 2000's FPS that's elevated by being a novel take on the Star Wars universe.

They got real cool monsters in this game but it's kind of slow and also the main character is ass

Mass Effect offered innovation of the medium and compelling characters through rich storytelling at the cost of unfocused gameplay and bloated, if admirable vision. Mass Effect lays the groundwork for the formula to be perfected, but is dated in most all aspects.

A solid RTS game with a simple but neat story. Controls are quick enough, and production value is notable. I just wish the Blur cinematics lasted longer than 30 minutes across the whole game.

I was one of 12 people that kind of liked ARMS before Smash Brothers but it's taken me this long to realize every song in the soundtrack is the same

The black sheep classic of the Mario Bros. franchise, SMB2 is hands down one of the more unique and charming entries. I give Super Mario Brothers 2 a 10 out of ten.

Universally accessible and satisfying controls, memorable tunes, and a poppy artstyle - SMB is a classic, though it's not timeless. Repetitious level design, visuals, and audio when not using warps can get tedious and cement Super Mario as a definitively dated, but quite fun experience.

This is da best of the "Goldeneye-Perfect Dark-TimeSplitters 2" trifecta

Production-wise, Sonic Mania Plus is an impressive herculean task to pull off - Visuals and audio are masterful, though a dreadful final zone severely lets down an otherwise colorful, creative, and fun platformer.

One of the most satisfying-to-control Kart Racers I've played in a long time, the only gripes I have are some technical mishaps. wreck it wronk

something something innovative
