A great roguelite, and definitely revolutionary for storytelling in the genre. Expect an easier time than other roguelites until you start turning on a bunch of modifiers.

Masterful puzzle experience.

Simply the best puzzle game I've played. Baba is you forces you to tinker with the game's systems and discover interactions that feel completely natural after you figure them out, and it's an incredibly satisfying feeling.

If you're easily frustrated by cryptic puzzles, then use a guide. However, everything else about the game is why it's such a classic

Shovel Knight: Treasure Trove is one game that became 5 games. The original, Shovel Knight, was already phenomenal. A platformer that mixes old school vibes with new school feel. Now, imagine 3 more iterations of that but playing as new characters (who you fought as bosses in the original game) with all new abilities, stages, etc. Plus, there's a random fighting game thrown in there that is surprisingly well done.

An unbalanced mess of a platform fighter that's hilarious, for a while.
