A lot of bits in this game give off the same energy as Revengeance bosses

I've never hated penguins more in my life.

Just finished up Layer 7. Even on Lenient difficulty, the game still manages to kick my ass with how hard it is. I am not particularly good at video games, so that could be a big part of it, but that last bit of the Earthmover boss where you're given less than 2 minutes to escape the self destruct sequence while dealing with a horde of enemies should be outlawed under the Geneva convention.

Game's still good, but that goes without saying.
