Season is always the best expansion of every sims game, I'm sorry to be boring, but being boring is being right. Summer, autumn, winter, spring, rains and thunderstorms, they are always present in your game, always offering something unique to do, and always making the passage of time more meaningful.

The Sims 3 had a seasonal festival where you could go do different activities depending on the season (snowboard in the winter, eat apples out of a tub in the summer, shit like that) and it had different snow depths. However, I think overall this pack might be better? I'm not sure.

The biggest improvement over previous games is the calendar system. You can now customize every single holiday, delete them, create new ones, move them around, etc. For example, I'm from the southern hemisphere so Christmas is a Winter holiday, so now we have the ability to make our games match our expiriences a lot more. I personally play the game as if I lived in the US because the whole game just gives me the vibe that it's set in the US anyway, and I'm used to their holidays due to their cultural influence. In my sims game I have Valentine's Day and Easter in the Spring, Independence Day in the Summer, Halloween and Thanksgiving in the Autumn, and Christmas and New Year's Eve in the Winter. I'm basic.

There's also some weird "lesser" holidays that I'm not sure if we can deactivate, like "talk like a pirate day". I never pay any attention to them.

One of the most important additions is Santa's bushy beard. It is the best beard in the whole game, and, as someone who makes 95% of his male sims grow facial hair, it's nice to have more options aviable. You bet I had sex with Santa. As to the other new NPC, I haven't even seen the scarecrow that helps you with the garden. I have to remember to place one of those guys in my upcoming supernatural playthrough.

I don't always play with the laundry system "on", as it can be a bit of a chore, but it's very nice to have the option to increase the difficulty of your game. It's yet another well made pack which probably should have been included in the base game, or at least one of the larger household oriented expansions, but whatever, this is the way it is, and I approve of it. I made a laundry place to go flirt with the cute neighbours.

Another whatever addition to a great base game.

It includes several more characters, including Starfire which is one of my faves to play as, so it's pretty cool I guess. I would like to install it again in the future.

A bigger and more complicated sequel, I think I like the first one slightly better. I wasn't able to finish it, I don't remember if I got stuck or what.

That's sus. I had a lot of fun both on my own and on the discord server. It's a great game when people don't ruin it by going AFK, or cheating, or having no taste in settings. I want 10 to 12 crewmates, 2 killers, lots of tasks, a walking speed that is not bullet train, I'm not asking for much here.

They waited a few months after toddlers were released to sell us some stuff for them that they could have been included in the patch. Oh, Sims 4.

This one comes with some items to make your own toddler-accesible playground, including the infamous pixelated ball pit.

The create-a-sim stuff is super cute. I love the hoodie with fox ears.

One of the game packs that are so good they rival expansions. Introducing stuff like the parenthood skill, school lunches, drawing tables, school projects, private diaries, and the ability for children to develop positive or negative traits depending on their actions, this is clearly a must-have.

The create-a-sim stuff is great too. It includes one of the best hairstyles for men, puny facial hair for teens, acne, and some of my favourite male clothing items. I guess there's stuff for women and children too.

When the hairstyles are the most appealing part of a pack, and they are not even particularly great, is when we are in trouble.

This pack comes with some gym clothes, some gym items we already had, some other unrelated furniture, and the climbing wall, which is the selling point. I like climbing walls in real life, the thing is that they went too overboard with this one, it's massive, and technological, it spits fire, it simply doesn't fit with my playstyle.

Oh, this is also the pack that came with the earbuds, and I hate the earbuds. I hate getting the stupid notification of the lady asking me if I want free earbuds, and if I say yes I never use them and they stay there in my inventory wasting space. Apparently you can sell them, that's even worse 'cause we don't need more stupid ways of making money in the sims 4, sometimes I go fishing and I catch a voodoo doll and it's worth enough to buy a whole kitchen set.

The only negatives come when you compare it with the Sims 3. The only animals included are cats and dogs, and you can only see them in the wild in the new town (where there's actually too many of them, and they are all sick, so it makes you feel depressed). In the last game you had the ability to control your pets just like your sims, but this was a bad idea and I'm glad they removed it.

However, everything else about it is dope. This is the first time that I had fun with cats and dogs in the whole franchise, they are fleshed out and feel like a natural addition to the gameplay, and I actually want my sims to have pets this time (even though they can be a chore, just like in real life). The new veterinarian career is OK too.

But, to me, the world is just as big of a sell as the animals. I think it's inspired by New England, you can live in a house by the beach surrounded by forests and mountains, it's by far the most gorgeous place to live in.

Top tier stuff pack simply because I like bowling (the only good sport) and I like taking my sims to the bowling alley, and it comes with a pre-made one that looks really cute, so I use it all the time. Besides, we don't have many other options for a night out with the bros. I vibe with the fashion too.

As I stated in another review, I love the base game, but none of the expansions or updates did that much for me. I barely remember any of these extra stories, and I think the game works better when the narrative is not this linear.

Very creative game. I was bored the whole time.

I don't even know what they were thinking, they made Clementine a secondary character (and the rest of the characters from previous seasons are barely in it), and you would think that format would allow them to take your choices from previous games into account, especially the final ones of the second game, but no. You get like 5 minutes of exclusive content, and all the roads end up in the same place, so your choices are flushed down the toilet yet again.

As to the new characters, I don't give a shit about them, the story is bad. The main character is allegedly bisexual, but that in practice means that he has a mandatory female love interest, but you can CHOOSE to make him like men too, and this consists of a dialogue choice where you flirt with a guy for 10 seconds. #representation

The story still sucks, and the armor system and other extra content available is pretty much garbage. However, it's a cute colorful game with fun gameplay.
