While it sounds crazy enough to write a review about a game thats not even OUT LMAO. I why I can 100% confirm that this game will be my favourite game ever when it releases.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is from a series I'm genuinely not that familiar with. beside playing Xenosaga Freaks on the PS2 15 years ago. Having played a few hours of Xenoblade Chronicles X on the wii u and having watched like 7 episodes of Xenosaga : The Animation and then dropping it out of boredom. You would genuinely be insane from a series where your intertest was never fully captured nor grasped to have the latest entry be your FAVOURITE GAME EVER?! Well here I will try to concretely enough explain my "My insanity" or for some of you guys "Stupidity" I'm assuming.

I found out about Xenoblade Chronicles 3 pretty late actually the game was revealed at the Nintendo Direct in 2022. I accidentally stumbled upon the game in February pure on whim. I was watching videos about JRPGs and I saw the games Trailer in my recommendations. I didn't even wanna click on the trailer nor did I want it to play YouTube Autoplayed it for me when I went to the toilet lol... but when I came back I was like "fuck it why not" and pressed replay and my mind was blown away... to most it's a standard trailer nothing outstanding or experimental enough for someone to lose their shit over it but man... I WAS IN. From the VA of Noah the silent build up and the narrator to the big open athmosphere but with a striking distinct visual style. It reminded so much of every favourite open world jrpg series I love and it happens so rarely that I ever have such a strong sense of nostolgia from past of something in the present that I have no strong knowledge. But from the previously mentioned things and flashy gameplay and strong and striking character designs. I just knew it was the one. The open world fantasy genre is a VERY important genre to me because it helped me allot as a person throughout my life and I honestly watched allot of fantasy media but super rarely has this same feeling been matched before. I literally searched up every information about the game since and don't think I've ever been as hype for something as this game. The latest Info dump just made me even more confident in my feelings. I rewatched each trailer over 10x and watched the gameplay showcases over 10x. Did as much research as I can on the people working on it. Theorize heavy about future characters , environments and potential story beats. I genuinely have 100% trust in this game and don't think I can get dissapointed really.

So it really a case of pure feelings of nostolgia , charm and trust that makes me so sure. I know this seems goofy asf to write this but I know myself the best so I know best what my true feelings on the game will be.

( P.S I've done this before and know how my expectations work so I really cannot be dissapointed. also I will do a follow up in September on this when I play it.

There's so much I could say about this game, but the way it handles its themes of trauma, facing your past, and broken people finding solace in one another made me emotional over and over

Kino.

This game is like a 12/10 just cause the traversal is that incredible

Take any possible aspect you liked from the first two entries and multiply it by 10; Insomniac absolutely nailed this. Everything from the story to the characters to the gameplay is greatly improved upon and expanded here, even MJ's stealth missions are great to play through this time around. I loved just about everything they did here, and I could not be happier with my time spent on this.

Splitting up the kit between two spidermen makes the kit feel smaller, reducing the number of gadgets to four doesn't help, the mysteriums are a poor substitute for the taskmaster challenges from the first game, I will be real I don't really like Peter's robo-arms in particular being such a mainstay of his kit they just do not feel very spider-man to me and in general, I think I experienced more immersion breaking bugs and hiccups than in the predecessor but ultimately any complaints I could levy against the game should come with the massive asterisk that I played it non-stop until there was nothing left to do.

Solid 25 hour experience to earn the Platinum trophy. Insomniac raised the bar in every single way!

Very great sequel, that I still find has issues. This game is fantastic but not as spectacular as the first.
I think character wise, the characters of Peter, Miles, Harry, Kraven, Norman Osborn, Martin Li/Mr. Negative and a couple of others are handled fantastically. I love the twists in terms of Sand Man, and how amazing the opening is. The tone of the game is very serious but grandiose.

I think the styles between the Spider-men is very unique to how each play, even if for the most part they play somewhat similarly, but having gadgets and abilities unique to them and them alone. The city is humongous and so fun to swing through especially with the new wing suit and that feels like you're flying. If someone wants a gist on how to make a super hero fly in a game in a fun way, this is it!

The amount of suits from the comics is amazing, but also sad that they didn't port the ALL previous suits to this new games. What I mean is here we get a plethora of returning suits and new suits as well! Only thing is it would it have really been hard for them to bring back suits from the first Spiderman game? Especially since Peter's INTO THE SPIDERVERSE OUTFIT or his comic styled outfit aren't in this game along with others.
Someone might say it could be because of the fact they decided to add alternate suit colors which most likely is the reason.

Still having suits like TASM2, BLACK RAIMI SUIT, CLASSIC BLACK, SCARLET III, BLACK PANTHER, WOLVERINE, MYSTERIO, etc are all amazing editions, just hope those other suits return in a future update for free and not as a DLC.

The story is great but all over the place, without going into spoilers. I think it's because, they wanted to do so much at once that when the story decided to make a midpoint to where both storylines collides, however it makes the first part seem like a waste of time if that makes sense.
Also how certain major villains were treated during part 1 is very sad since we don't see anything apart from a particular shocking scene involving one of the villain's.
Of course there is something within the first part of that storyline that is beneficial that then leads into the second but the first one sort of abruptly ends with no conclusion with Peter or Miles actually being involved against Kraven and I guess that's sort of the point to show how the real final enemy is dangerous. The problem is that it makes it seem like they wanted to have a prominent villain like in SPIDERMAN 1, however the 2 villains collided. The story is fine but it's all over the place I still think the way they handle certain characters especially Black Cat is absolutely insulting. Another thing I find ridiculous is how Mary Jane acts throughout a particular part, where she tries to justify her anger to Peter. While there is a cool boss fight involving her, it just devolves into a couple arguing, and before you guys say "that's the point" the excuses she uses is pathetic and it sounds straight up like the whinny Kristen Dunst version of getting mad at Peter for being Spiderman.

The story has a lot of amazing moments, especially with Harry and the symbiote first using it in an AGENT VENOM costume. I absolutely love how Venom acts and Tony Todd is a god, love his voice! Insomniac are teasing a Venom game so I'm excited to see that before Spiderman 3, but of course after Wolverine, since it appears that will be the next game in the franchise.

I think the tease with multiple villains and 1 new hero for the next installment Spiderman 3 coming... idk 2027... 2028 is exciting.

I'm expecting Insomniac to do the following games:

Wolverine (2024/2025) [Confirmed] -> Venom (???) [Teased] -> Miles Morales 2 (with the New character getting her powers) -> SPIDERMAN 3

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Anyway, not saying this game was disappointing, not saying it's bad. It's amazing, but I found the first one more spectacular, still the story telling is the second best, considering that the worst story was certainly Miles Morales for how bad of a villain it had.
Still I'm being critical but this game is fantastic, I'm giving it 5 stars because it's a complete game, it has it's disappointing moments sure... but it's a fantastic new entry to the franchise that has a lot of things to satisfy and make fans happy... now all there is is to wait for either DLC and Wolverine and Venom!

Thanks for reading! #BESTRONGERTOGETHER!
