I'm so happy I gave the multiplayer mode a chance. What a riot. It's so much more fun than the single player mode. I think the best aspect of it is that it encourages you to be as petty as possible, resulting in games feeling like an all-out war between you and your friend. I genuinely recommend it

It may not be the "big new F-Zero" that many fans want, and considering this is the first F-Zero release since my birth I can't help but be a little disappointed. But on its own terms, this is still an absolute blast. I'm a fan of the "99" series, and F-Zero translates flawlessly to that formula. It's chaotic and fast paced in all the best ways. I also like that they remastered the game (both the visuals, which are in true 3D now, and the driving physics are substantially improved), rather than just making a straight port with battle royale elements tacked on top of it. My main issue lies with the fact that your entire race can be ended through no fault of your own by bumping into those freaking NPC drivers that are sometimes totally unavoidable. Also, launching the game with only 7 tracks was a lame move. At least the other tracks came in quickly.

Obviously pretty blah by modern standards, but I'm surprised by how complete this game is. Time trials, racing against CPUs, and even a track creator??? Colour me impressed

Love that Nintendo is adding previously Japan-only games to NSO! I'll need to play more of this game before I can fully form my opinion (probably with an English patch, so I can understand what the heck the names of the modes are). But from the little bit I played, this is yet another pretty fun variation on the falling block puzzle genre, with its main alteration to the formula adding a little more depth to the experience while still being easy to pick up. If you like games in this genre, or if you like Kirby, play this game.

Honestly, even beyond the lack of content, I just think this game is straight up unfun.

The game mechanics on the surface are enjoyable, but none of that matters when your entire performance is not dependent on how well you're playing, but on whether the bot-controlled goalies will block the ball or not. This shit is just as RNG as Mario Party and it doesn't even embrace that.

Even on easy mode this game is horrendously unforgiving. There's zero time to react to anything and save states are practically required. Fantastic visuals though.

THEY DID IT
THEY MADE A GOOD MEGA MAN GAME
Mega Man 2 found dead in a ditch

I'm sorry, but Heat Man and Quick Man's stages are obscenely badly designed. Those two stages alone should disqualify this game from deserving anywhere near the amount of praise it's received.

I'm gonna be assassinated for saying this but I think Mega Man 1 is better than Mega Man 2

This game really surprised me. I think it's extremely ahead of its time in several ways, and is definitely one of the best-aged NES games. I can't wait to get around to the sequels

Better than the first, not much else to say

This game's fine, but my biggest surprise is how well this game functions on mobile. Impressive

Really interesting and cute puzzle game. Had a lot of fun

I wish I could roll my enemies into a ball like that
