I'm totally spoiled by modern Tetris games but I'm annoyed by how the pieces instantly lock into place upon landing, giving me no time to react once things begin speeding up.

Really ingenious and addictive way to revitalize a classic

No clue if this is actually an 8/10 game. No one talks about it and I have no reason to ever go back to it.

Why is this only playable with Joy-Cons lol

I really want to love this game, but the vehicle segments control terribly and there's SO MANY of them

The middle child. Huge improvement over 1 but clearly a step below 3

This game is abysmal. Do the people giving this high ratings hate fun?

I don't get the point of this. Why remake a set of old games if you're not gonna update the gameplay or level design in any meaningful way?

If I had a nickel for every time Funky Kong made his playable debut in a specific series only to be the most overpowered character in the game, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

This is a boundary pushing game in pretty much every aspect, and the main campaign is teetering on a 10/10.

However, while I agree with the consensus that this game is very accessible compared to other "hardcore games", I did feel like the B-sides and Farewell were excessively difficult just for the sake of being difficult, and I personally don't find that type of design fun or rewarding at all. But to be fair, they are optional. Stellar game otherwise.

This game is overflowing with ideas, but in the Mario way; in that it doesn't feel overstuffed at all. I don't know how Nintendo does it.

BWAAAAA

Somehow they managed to make the video game equivalent of the Minions likeable. Who could've guessed?

Mario Kart 8:
- No playable Boo
- No Boo item
- No Boo track (in name)

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe:
- King Boo
- Boo item
- GBA Boo Lake

I think it's pretty clear which version is superior.
