A simple game that is nonetheless fun for all ages. The stage play aesthetic is well-used and Princess Peach has never been cooler or more beautiful

Very adorable adventure game about coloring the world that also has a relatively deep story. Unique idea and solid execution!

Phenomenal little title that combines the challenge of Celeste with the fluid game design and structure of DKC: Tropical Freeze. Every stage is unique and expands on the drill mechanic in a meaningful way. Only complaint is that it was too short (~2.5 hours), but that's only because I wish there was more! A super charming must play.

The dark souls of little girl games.

I picked this up on the hope that the internet was exaggerating and that it was at least entertainingly bad. It is not, it just sucks. In three hours of "playing," I think I actually played for closer to an hour. The incredibly slow opening keeps taking away control for cutscenes and tutorials, and it's awful. Every time I thought I was going to get a chance to actually play and maybe even enjoy it, control was taken away again. Just genuinely awful. Cannot recommend this, even for the meme of it.

Mechanically speaking, this is a very solid and well designed game. The small nature of the party and scope of the game means that the systems that do exist are all able to interact with each other in a lot of interesting ways, creating lots of opportunity for strategy and build variety even throughout a single playthrough. The equipment and insanity skills in particular are favorites of mine; the equipment is designed in such a way that most of it encourages a specific playstyle, and the ever-changing nature of equipment means that this system actively encourages you to change your builds around frequently. The insanity skills are similarly fun, as the random and unpredictable nature of them encourage on-the-fly strategizing and improvisation, meaning combat will rarely get stale.

The mech gameplay was kinda meh (Sentry Guns and Interceptors basically broke the game), but the storytelling was fantastic. Genuinely wish I could play this blind a second time.
