Literally one of the most iconic video games ever made. An absolutely blast when ever I replay this game.

Also I might as well rank the characters you can play as.

#7 Big the Cat
#6 Amy Rose
#5 Miles “Tails” Prower
#4 Gamma
#3 Knuckles the Echidna
#2 Super Sonic
#1 Sonic the Hedgehog

Probably the best 2d Mario game in my opinion.

Yeah sorry guys but I can't really say that I'm a fan of this one.

Sorry Sonic Adventure 2, but Sonic Adventure 1 was better.

Could’ve been 5 stars if the werehog stages weren’t a pace breaker, and if the game had mostly day stages, and if the “you need to collect a certain amount of these to progress” gimmick wasn’t a thing, and if Chip didn’t have this voice that was uncomfortable to listen to.

In my opinion the funniest and most quotable Sonic game I've ever played, also the platform I played this game on was the PS3.

I am sorry for saying that Sonic & Knuckles was better than Sonic 3.

Ahh the one that started it all, yeah not really a fan of this and it really hasn't aged well, but I respect it.

The funniest aspect of this amazing game is that you can skip the cyberspace levels just by fishing with Big the Cat.

I love this game, sure it does have its fair share of stupid elements, but I love it none the less.

Also can we get more of Maria Robotnik please.

The only flaw I have is that Rosalina needs more screen time, in fact they should make her a playable character in Super Mario Galaxy 3.

This is probably my favorite Modern Sonic game I've played.

Honestly this is still a really fun great game to play. Sackboy, Oddsock, Toggle, and Swoop are adorable, Newton's a funny yet sinister villain at the same time. If I had any problems with the game I think the characters that help the main characters on their journey aren't as memorable or likable as the characters in the second game, and Newton while menacing isn't as amazing or threatening as the Negativitron. But this still a great game to a series that pretty nostalgic towards.

A huge improvement over the first Sonic game, but I'm more into 3d platformers than 2d.
