This is a tough one. I played roughly 30 hours but I can't get myself to like this game.
I was really looking forward to it, because I love the original and also enjoyed Remake. I really hope that I will enjoy it in a few months or maybe a year...

What I don't like about it:
- Open World activities just feel bland. I also feel like that traversing the world isn't fun.
- Crafting... just why do we need this in FF7, feels just unnecessary and annoying because you have to pick up all this random stuff
- Too many minigames. Some of these are really cool, like Queen's Blood, but a lot feels like a waste of time. The Original had a decent amount of minigames too, but it did not feel that oppressive
- Way too much recycling of side characters from the first game makes the world just feel unnatural. And also Chadley and his sister are the most annyoing characters I have encountered in a long time.
- Addition of weird high tech technology does not fit this world in my opinion and makes it totally unbelievable
- Sadly I have to say that I think this game is badly written. Remake had it's problems too, but this game is way worse

This is one of the best games I have ever played. An artistic and storytelling masterpiece, especially for people who love old school horror games like Silent Hill or Resident Evil and are not afraid of complex storytelling.

This game has some neat ideas, but the execution is miserable, specifically the item management.
Writing was never the strength of Resident Evil, but this game is on another level. Everything is just stupid.
Level and game design in general is not great either.

Has worse controls than Metal Gear Solid 2.

Very pretty game though.

Monster Hunter and Dark Souls have a baby and it‘s a freaking weirdo.

I have to admit that the idea of this game is not bad. But everything is just to obvious and on the nose. Also characters talk too much, but maybe that’s just personal preference.

The inspiration for this free game obviously stems from P.T. and is a cool idea of reintroducing and promoting the Silent Hill Franchise. There is also a point of all this, because it explains stuff that weirdly needs no explanation in my opinion. Toward the end of the game you find a classic note that mentions the Silent Hill Phenomenon, which states that fog can appear anywhere and this place then is like Silent Hill.
My guess is that they want to establish this to make different types of games possible that are not necessarily set in Silent Hill.

This Addon starts of pretty strong. I enjoyed the majority of chapter 1. Yuffie as a character is really likeable and I loved playing Fort Condor. Hope there is more of it in Rebirth.
But sadly I have to say that chapter 2 falls really short in comparison. The level design is just bad and don‘t get me started on the ending. Putting some random Kingdom Hearts villain in as an endboss is just dumb and the fight itself also sucked. The ending just left me kind of angry…

If you miss the old Resident Evil days, where fixed camera angles were the standard, you should really give this one a shot.
The combat doesn’t reach the heights of RE1 Remake and the Silent Hill inspired story is a bit confusing.
Nevertheless the game has cool ideas regarding puzzles and storytelling.
If you like old school horror, check it out!

This game is better than it‘s predecessors and almost reaches the quality of Until Dawn and The Quarry.
The setting is pretty interesting for a videogame and where they are going with the story … oh boy.
Can recommend to everyone who was rather disappointed with the prior Dark Pictures Games.

I love this game!
When playing it nowadays you really have to consider it's time of release. It came out when these walking-simulator-horror games were en vogue. In these games you normally don't have any combat mechanics and can only run away from some overpowered enemy.
This game really plays with the expectation of you playing one of these trivial games, but instead tells a heartwarming teenager story, that really surprised me back in the day.

This is a pretty good Souls-like game with interesting gameplay mechanics. But nevertheless the game does suffer from being a competitor to some of the Action-RPGs ever made. If you love games like Bloodborne or Dark Souls you kind of feel the lack of a ... Soul and the great artistic direction.

For me this is the best From Software game. The atmosphere and level design are on point. Gameplay feels better than Dark Souls or Elden Ring, because it focuses on your engagement in combat. It encourages you to maintain an aggressive play style since a decent amount of bosses can be staggered by successive attacks. The parry/counter system also works better, because it is an integral part of combat and not some wonky shield waving. At last also the story is pretty cool and also comprehensible, even if you don‘t want to read item descriptions all the time, which is also a weakness of other Souls games.
