Doesn't seem too different from Story of Eastern Wonderland at all at first glance, but has a few additions to make it a good deal more intuitive, and it's also much easier. Still does that thing where it's like "reach the TRUE final boss by using no continues!!" which is like, damn stupid.

If I had to compare these two games to one I've played previously, I'd probably say Truxton or something. Weapons in particular remind me a lot of each other.
