the sewer left a sour taste in my mouth, but it's still absolutely fantastic. Not a masterpiece like the first game's remake, but damn good.

I think that besides the story being very weird at times and hard to follow, this is a phenomenal game that aces it's atmosphere unlike anything else on it's console. With that said, two flaws i see that got fixed with 2 were 1. it being easier to know where you're going and 2. the story isn't fully concise, at least in my opinion. These are both mostly hardware problems though, so it's easy to look past them, cause this is S tier
