But i will put a very abridged version of that here:
Prologue + Chapter 1: the best intro to the game of the three games. It plays as a tutorial but does splendidly in the way of emotional weight and ending that sets up the journey of the game.
Chapter 2: not the best case but actually learned to appreciate it with time. However, i remain in saying that everything that relates to Saihara and Kaito is the highlight of the episode. Solid one but not the best
Chapter 3: FFS SAKES KODAKA, THREE GAMES AND THE THIRD CASE IS ALWAYS THE WEAKEST ONE. When it comes to the relationship that builds with Saihara, Kaito and Maki is pretty good and the ending with Himiko breaks my heart. The student council arc is decent but it is such a wasted potential to not have the third case to actually have two killers and keep going with the same thing as the last two games with only one killer.
Chapter 4: GONTAAAAAAAAA ;_; the best one when it comes to emotions and the mistery. All around it sets up everything perfectly for chapter 5 and how it culminates with a big tension with the relationship with Saihara and Kaito is heartbreaking. Also how it wonderfully develops more the friendship between those two and Maki is hella good. As a whole, not only the best in showcasing how Kokichi goes far in manipulation but also how twisted the case is when the killer itself doesn't remember.
Chapter 5: KAITOOOOOOOOO ;_; as someone who maxed Kaito's friendship fragments in the game, this HURTED SO MUCH. And Kokichi stands here (and also thanks to past cases, especially the fourth one) as the best character of the game. Tightly written and it works perfectly as we enter the final episode.
Chapter 6 + epilogue: IT WAS ALL A LIE. I know why people where divided but it is all perfect in it's own way. As usual, this chapter is the big reveal and it doesn't slack on that, but how it all is put on hand is CRUEL and it is absolute despair. It is also the chapter where Kodaka in essence said "FUCK DANGANRONPA, FICTIONAL CHARACTERS HAVE RIGHTS TOO". The epilogue is ambiguous and it works. Was it all fictional? Maybe it was all real? A simulation? We will never know and i prefer it to be that way. It's an amazing ending and while not at the same level of DR2 ending for me, it is tightly written, a closure that goes with all glory as this franchise deserves.
Great game, perhaps not at the same level as DR2 was but it is still a solid close one for me and it is a very great farewell to the franchise.
