FanGameList

Links to fan/clone/free games that are too good to leave buried. I made this list because I was having trouble registering my game information on IGDB. For now, I've carefully selected five of them. If there are any other interesting ones, I'll add them.

YOU - "Does it support English?"
ME - "I don't know about that."

「ドラゴンボールZ RPG/DRAGON BALL Z RPG」
https://w.atwiki.jp/dbz_rpg/pages/56.html
This is a re-edited clone game containing all of the following trilogy.

https://www.backloggd.com/games/dragon-ball-z-kyoshu-saiyan/
From the fight with Raditz to the fight with Vegeta.

https://dragonball.fandom.com/wiki/Dragon_Ball_Z_II:_Gekishin_Freeza
The battle on the planet Namek. The last boss is of course Frieza-sama.
(I'm posting this link because it's not registered on the IGDB.)

https://www.backloggd.com/games/dragon-ball-z-iii-ressen-jinzou-ningen/
The OP is the fight with Frieza-sama. I liked the BGM here because it was really cool.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=owcg92iP4vk&t=601s
From there, it's a battle between the Artificial Man and Cell, but the game ends at Cell's first form. The end of the game is like a censored manga. After that, the RPG series never got a sequel, and DB became a mass-produced fighting game.

This fangame has gone out of its way to create a storyline that leads up to the subsequent cell games, and even includes elements from the film versions. Personally, I like the inclusion of the story of Goku's father, bardock.

It also contains elements of the following games. There may be others.
https://www.backloggd.com/games/dragon-ball-z-super-saiya-densetsu/
https://www.backloggd.com/games/dragon-ball-z-gaiden-saiyajin-zetsumetsu-keikaku/
https://www.backloggd.com/games/dragon-ball-z-goku-hishouden/

A wonderfully powerful work.
「天地を喰らう2・完全版/Destiny of an Emperor II complete version」
https://www.backloggd.com/games/destiny-of-an-emperor-ii/
The developers call this the complete version of "2".
I've played it a bit. It really is the "complete version".

The game system is based on "2" and is a port of the best parts of "1". The story also starts with Yellow Turban Rebellion, which is also a great thing for Yellow Turbans fans.
”蒼天已死 黄天當立 歳在甲子 天下大吉!”

The problem is that the developers are too motivated. Because of this, there are too many versions of the game and the specifications are not organized.
It's a luxury concern.
In fact, I don't know which version of the game is the most stable and enjoyable, even though I've checked the internet. lol

Probably either ver3.03 or ver4.08 if you want to play now.
ver3.03
https://ux.getuploader.com/clonegameup/download/508
ver4.08
https://ux.getuploader.com/clonegameup/download/610
「星をみるひと/STARGAZER」
http://www5b.biglobe.ne.jp/~kiss-me/aji/star/index.html

https://www.backloggd.com/games/hoshi-wo-miru-hito/
Remake by volunteers. It is said to be easier to play than the original.
https://www.backloggd.com/games/final-fantasy-legend-ii/
The story is still the same, but the game system of Saga2 has been adapted.
「RPGツクールVX版 真・女神転生/RPG Maker VX Shin Megami Tensei」
https://w.atwiki.jp/rpgvxmegaten1/pages/16.html
Of all the games on this list, this is the fan game that surprised me the most with its content.
*
Changes from the original
Addition of LAW heroine/CHAOS heroine
There is a "High King Route" which does not have one heroine.
There is a route to persuade L and C heroes.
Maximum 8 endings / 6 routes
A special boss for the NEUTRAL route
New dungeons and some additions
Additional storyline not found in the original game
Addition of items, armor, and combined swords not found in the original.
Enhanced the battle system in accordance with Maker VX.
Some demon graphics have been changed (especially female demons)
Introduced the level-up system of the demon
You can buy and remove the magic of the demon.
Addition of special skills not found in the original
Add and delete the demon that does not appear in the original work.
Add new races
Strengthen some bosses.
*

The devil must be in this developer's brain, even if he is a volunteer.
And make a full version of "2"!
「ディアボロの大冒険/Diavolo's Great Adventure」
https://u7.getuploader.com/1243448/

"HOW MANY TIMES AM I GOING TO DIE!?"
https://www.nicovideo.jp/watch/sm35361923
( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;( ゚д゚;
Please don't look at me.

https://www.backloggd.com/games/jojo-no-kimyou-na-bouken-ougon-no-kaze/
It has very little to do with this game.
The only thing they have in common is that they are related to JoJo Part 5.

https://www.backloggd.com/games/tornekos-great-adventure-mystery-dungeon/
https://www.backloggd.com/games/mystery-dungeon-shiren-the-wanderer--1/
The content is based on these two games with a pathetic boss as the protagonist. That's all.
However, this game has the developer's overflowing love for Jojo.
A game in which Diavolo, our boss, keeps dying. "INFINITELY".

"HE WILL NEVER EVEN ARRIVE AT THE REALITY OF 'DEATH... 'INFINITELY'... NO END IS AN END, AND THAT IS THE 'GOLD EXPERIENCE REQUIEM'."
What a pathetic Boss! Giorno is the son of the devil!!
"STAY AWAY FROM ME!!!"
; ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚); ゚д゚)
Boss, please, don't look at me.

I had downloaded the VX fan remake of SMT 1 last year and while I was impressed by the faithfulness of the recreation, I had no idea about all those impressive additions and QOL changes! Now if only I could read Japanese ;_;

wait, SMT 1 on RPG Maker?, how I'd missed that

@MrPixelton-san
I don't know if this is any consolation, but it's easy to replace the text in RPG Maker.
Who knows, maybe someone will make a translation for you in the near future.

I searched the web and found the following page.

I knew it, It seems to be easy to replace the text itself.

The world of Japanese fan games is very interesting. I hope to see you discover more things like this. I'm sure most English speaking SMT fans don't know about the fangame you linked, and most Dragon Ball fans don't even know about the RPG games in the West.
