As wild as this sounds, Tears of the Kingdom made Breath of the Wild feel like a tech demo.

Love letter to turn based RPGs.
Peak combat system, amazing OST, stunning visuals (sucker for HD-2D), well written characters.
Personal GOTY so far.

This is my first time playing Ishin, but I have played all other localized entries in the series & spinoffs besides 5,6 and Dead Souls.

I loved my time with this, and while I do have some minor complains, overall it's a superb entry and one of my favourites in the series.

Initially I was a bit put off by the combat and how overpowered the guns felt in the early game, but the more time I spent using the Wild Dancer style & Katana, I never looked back.

Combat is satisfying, and solid.

Originally, I was a bit put off by the combat demo, because it felt a lot less fluid than Lost Judgement did. However, after playing the full game, I can easily compare it with Yakuza 0's combat, which by itself is a great compliment.

Story is REALLY good, one of the best of the series imo.

If you like RGG games, I can't recommend this enough!

Main Story takes about 22~ hours if you don't focus on side objectives.

I can say, without a doubt, that Pokemon Legends: Arceus is the best game in the series.

It takes the formula to new heights and shows us a different side of the Pokemon Universe.

With a few improvements, and additional mechanics/ features from gen IX, the next game has the potential to be a masterpiece.

Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is one of the best JRPGs released to date.

It respects and honours its predecessors, offering laughter, thrills and an adventure that will stay with me for the rest of my life.

If you like Strategy RPGs, or are a fan of the previous games in the series (pre - Three Houses) you can't go wrong with Engage.

It's a visually beautiful package, packed with plenty of hours of phenomenal strategic gameplay.

However, I didn't feel connected to the world or characters like I did in Three Houses.
