Flashy and fun, yet not lacking in substance. However, the storytelling suffers as they definitely focused more on other aspects of the game

Stupid and crazy, but fun to watch and play if you're good enough

I have a lot of mixed feelings about this game, but I can appreciate most of it when I come back to it. Gameplay is insane and fast but ONLY if you devote countless hours to upgrading your party.
It has the best main character writing across the Xeno series but only for a handful of characters and is
greatly enhanced by the Torna expansion. A lot of constant and inconvenient menu navigation for something that could be easily fixed with quality of life adjustments. Some really bad character moments, but it still tells a wonderful story.
I love this game despite its' flaws and sometimes because of them.

An incredible amount of high quality story/character content with the downside of grinding taking up most of your time.
The power creep is getting crazy, but it doesn't affect you until you're at the highest ranks of play which is hundreds of hours out. I'm currently enjoying my grids getting stronger bit by bit and I absolutely love the music, story, and characters.

To be honest, I loved it a bit more than Persona 5, though it heavily relies on you already knowing the main cast. The new characters were a great addition, it had a lot of great emotional moments, and the bosses are a lot of fun to come back to. Highly recommend it if you've played P5.

It's cute and a lot of fun but it's not really challenging. The music is great! You probably won't like it if you're a hardcore or anime exclusive rhythm game player

Absolutely loved this game in spite of all its flaws. I especially enjoyed the action combat (during boss fights and notorious marks). There were some low points but all the characters gripped me and I wept quite hard at the ending.

A boring endless grind- standard for gacha games,
but it doesn't make it up to you with interesting characters and stories.

I absolutely love all the remixes in this game and it straight up has the most enjoyable and accessible gameplay of any rhythm game I've played. It's a total love letter to Persona 4 in every regard, even if the story isn't great I like that they took a visual novel approach like P4U

Actually fun asf because every character is so unique and the core gameplay loop is very addicting.
However, there a lot of UI bugs and crashing issues at the moment and so many different in-game currencies you'd think it was a mobile game.

I really love how this game is unabashedly and completely focused on the action and spectacle. Genuine masterpiece in those two aspects. I've never felt more hype and excitement facing a game's stages and bosses.
The browser game can keep feeding us a great visual novel and incredible lore, while Relink puts its best foot forward with what shines the brightest in a fully fledged console ARPG.

This is one of the most polished games I've had the pleasure of playing. From building up/learning/mastering SO MANY unique characters, to bombastic boss fights and an even crazier soundtrack, it's everything I could have wanted.

It's pretty frustrating how time-gated 90% of this game is, upgrading even just one character, progressing through the story, leveling, etc. Under the progression system is a solid rail-shooter with great visuals, music, and gameplay. I guess my main complaint is the story should be easy for casuals to get through, but even after literal dozens of hours I'm barely halfway through the chapters that came out after launch.
If the story wasn't interesting I would not be playing anymore, but even then my patience is tested when 95% of fights are waves of trash mobs. You spend most of the time fighting pointless waves of enemies between each cutscene, separating them by multiple minutes at a time. The often poor translations sometimes makes dialogue feel disjointed and nonsensical.
It has "potential" and I can see this game improving a lot in the near future, but there are too many small issues that add up.

Rank 250, with level 230+ teams, currently on chapter 24.

The game is gorgeous, every character design is incredible, the visuals rock, the voice acting (in JP and EN) is very professional and charming, and the gameplay is complex and balanced (for PvE) but more importantly- fun to learn.
All of these things make the game special and it stands out as an incredibly polished artistic masterwork.
However, the story and characters are not fleshed out very well, due in part to the pacing and division between multiple nations. Each nation's story is mostly disconnected from the main plot, excluding the first and last nations. The main villain and overarching antagonist(s) have a relatively weak presence and don't feel like the looming threat that they're made out to be, with the exception of the beginning and very end of the game.
I can count the exceptional musical tracks on one hand, and while the music is generally good, only a few songs felt special.
The game's overworld gives you the illusion of being non-linear but it really isn't possible to clear the game that way.
Liberating small towns that don't contribute to the story (or unlock a new character) starts to feel tedious and unrewarding about halfway through the game.

I was genuinely impressed with this game but it falls flat in a few key areas that would allow it to leave a greater impact on me personally.

100% Platinum on Tactical difficulty.
