Somehow I don't like Vampire Survivors but love Rogue Genesia. I can't play it every day but once or twice a year I will spend 20 hours per week on it.

I like the build combinations, the graphics are neat and the game is greatly supported by the dev. Every time I launch it I see more content added to it!

Honestly, I'm not sure if this game is worth 3.5 but this was my favorite game on GBA as a kid and I can't rate it lower. While the game is still beautiful and the combat (kinda) fun, the story is really MEH, and the game relies too much on artillery. The missions made me bored sometimes, however, the last one is great and I hope the next opus is going to features more of this type, or at least more challenges!

Played the GBA version on R36S.

Season was ok despite a chaotic start, but the endgame is still boring. Also still missing a multiplayer part. At this point I'm starting to miss Diablo 3..

Pfew, this was a drag, to be honest. I didn't get into the story and the combat is painful. I think it's mainly due to playing this straight after Kiwami 2.

Not perfect and still lacking the multiplayer part. But way better than S0 (I havent played season 1). The grind isn't too long to complete the season and the vampiric runes are great! Looking forward season 3.

I enjoyed this game. I think the cutscenes between some of the missions are really nice, and they provide more context regarding the situation and the enemy. I enjoyed every mission, but I felt some pressure from the timing. I never failed a mission because of this, but I would have loved to have more time on some missions to get more engaged in air fights. Another drawback is that a lot of missions mainly focus on destroying ground targets, which is nice but less challenging than air fights.

The last mission was amazing and the best mission of Ace Combat so far (for context, I played them chronologically).

I got hooked to Brotato for several weeks. Somehow I never really stick with Vampire Survivors and really enjoyed Brotato! The gameplay and reward feel more straightforward for me than VS. Amazing game for the price.

Thanks to the community for releasing an English patch of the Japanese version. This was the first Ace Combat game I played as a kid, and revisiting it through the Japanese version was amazing. Way more context is added through the story, which helps explain some missions, like the last one, that really confused me as a kid. However, the story is sometimes a bit messy and could have been better explained, as you don't feel any burden when making a choice. The game has aged quite well, and you can see and feel the difference compared to AC2.

Every year or so I go back to the Division 2. The game is far from being perfect but I enjoy the world so much. I wish to see a The Division 3 with a real motivation from Ubisoft.

2018

Some small improvements have been made regarding the first episode, but it still lacks serious storytelling. You go through missions without being immersed in a story. However, the gameplay is nice, and the additional objectives are a nice way to prolong the length of each mission and add some difficulty, as you will have to monitor the number of missiles you have left!

I honestly got surprised by how easy the game was to handle. I was expecting very rough controls but after five - ten minutes it got way easier and fun to play. Collecting planes is fun and the mission are already very similar to other close combats. The story is a bit average and lack a strong story telling, which isn't very surprising if you put the game back to the year it was made.

I got very excited at the beginning of this game but halfway through it, I started to be less enthusiastic. I was expecting a bit more regarding the riddles' variety, some of which are frustrating. Though the music is nice, the characters are well-written IMO (especially old-school Joey). The game isn't too long and can be done in 3-4 hours.
