TIGSource's (Opinionated) Guide to Independent Gaming
Originally posted in August 2007, this list was pared down from a bigger list of over a hundred favorite independent titles from the TIGForums community. Along with the the 50 main games covered in the list, I've included the various recommendations included as footnotes.

"This is in no way meant to be a "best of" list or any kind of indie gaming canon, although every game in this list is recommended highly. The purpose of this list is to aggregate a diverse collection of high quality independent games, and say a little about the significance of each one. As you will see, the themes and inspiration behind the games are really broad, as are the presentation and technical complexity. The hope is that both newcomers and those familiar with independent gaming will find something new and interesting to play or think about!"

The list featured the first game, Professor Fizzwizzle.
The four Chzo Mythos games were listed as a single entry.
The entirety of Eyezmaze's work was cited as a single entry. The list specifically mentions the Grow series and Chronon, the latter of which isn't on Backloggd.
The rest of the games listed were mentioned in footnotes for the main entries.

eyezmaze is a website, there are a couple of his games on here unless there isn't a specific one
