Love this game and started speedrunning with this game. Has a wonderful place in my heart. Just had to run though it again and got a mastery on RA.

Had a great time with this game. The knockback is brutal. But if you can find all of the best gear, you are golden. Kinda want to try to get at least one speed run on this game.

I was not expecting this game. When my friend said to give it a try, I did so and wow. The horror nature of the game and the fun platforming and shooting was great. Tough at some spots. especially the final stage. I need to play this more and try to get the best ending!

Played this for Simulation for the Retro Achievements 2024 Challenge League. It was a blast. I remember as a kid that it was a lot harder but kinda blew threw it tonight. The action stages where fun! Got a little tough at the end but still manageable. There aren't any I-fames to be had in this game. The SIM parts of the game where refreshing but for a little overwhelming towards the end. The final boss rush was great as well. Glad I finally played it and finished it!

Played this for my puzzle spot in Retro Achievements. I wish I knew about this game growing up! I love Puzzle League style games. I need to go back at some point to try to master it. It feels the play area is a little short but the way challenge mode work with you damaging the Pokémon because its Game Boy screen is fun!

Played this for my action spot for the Retro Achievement challenge. Always loved Marble Madness. It just a fun little race against the clock game. I looked over the Achievements and went to Master it! Always a great time if you have 20 minutes to kick around.

Its a great little game. Quick to beat and fun to master! I love the music but I might be a little broken! Need to do a speedrun and put it up on Speedrun.com

Had to play an Action-Adventure game for the Retro Achievements challenge today so I went with Rygar! I have such fond memories growing up with this game. It was the first game I can remember beating it and I was so proud the day I did. Being an open world game with both side view platforming sections and a top down maze like sections, it feels like a big game. The game is almost mastered so I just need to try to do a speedrun to knock out the last achievement.

I played this back on the Sega Channel and was excited to play an ESRB EC rated game. A podcast brought up the name of this IP and it brought back memories of playing it as a kid. So I checked out the achievements and saw it would be an easy mastery! But boy howdy, the deli and the delivery parts of the game seem to go on forever. And all I could think is, this world doesn't have child labor laws.

Went for the wild card space in the Retro Achievements challenge and had the site to pick a random sent of achievements and this was the game that came up. I still have my copy as a kid and I checked it after I finished it and noticed, I never beat the game. I think I just enjoyed playing it whilst using a transfer pak on the 64 version.
The game itself it was fun little RPG. Game was super easy up to the first tournament match. I ended up changing my racket just before it and made the match vs Sammi dummy hard. After I went back to the normal equipment, it was just easy sailing. Fun game but WAY to repetitive.

Played Neutopia for a Retro Achievements challenge. I always wanted to play this after seeing the speedrun a few years ago. So, I'm glad I played it. But if you play a lot of A Link to the Past, this game is going to frustrate you. In Alttp, your head doesn't count as a hit box. Neutopia, your head does count and when you are stuck to grid movements, it will be very hard to dodge some damage. But in all a fun game. The Fire Wand is over powered.

I picked this game for my Run & Gun spot for the Retro Achievements Challenge. This game has always been on a backlog for me to give it a playthrough and I'm happy I was able to finish it. The music is fantastic. But the game does have some big glaring issues and that there's virtual no health drops. It's super rare for them to drop. The other issue is that if you are turning or ducking/standing up and you try to jump, the game prioritizes the turn/duck/stand over the jump and this feels really clunky. It took me three restarts to beat the game. I got to the final stage and thought I had lost for good to be kicked back to the start but I miscounted my continues and was able to pull out the win. In all, a tough but great game.

I picked this for my Arcade spot for my Retro Achievements spot. I ended up picking Jack Skeleton due to the friend that suggested to try it. It was a fun little game. I kinda wish I had a Virtual Boy to play this legitimately. Falling down to the next stage would of been cool to see. But the game is comprised of little levels that you need to collect keys. Either through a puzzle or by killing enemies. The bosses are a dps rush until you run out of time. And you also collect stars to bank screen clears. The final boss has two phases and the second phase is hectic. Jack Skeleton is a melee character and this made it tough. After I beat it, I tried the rest of the characters and they both have range attacks. So it seems my friend had trolled me on my character choice.
In short, its a fun little puzzle arcade game.

I picked this game for my Minigames spot in Retro Achievements. I played this back when it first came out and I loved it. This time around, I forgot how crazy and off the wall this game really is. Micro games lasting from three to five seconds was such a great idea when this came out. You can complete the game in less than a hour if you just play and beat each stage once. But the beauty of this game is it replayability! Beating your high score and unlocking the rest of the micro games. And also unlocking other mini games like paper plane, Dr. Wario and my favorite Pyoro 1 & 2!

I picked this game for the Stealth spot for my Retro Achievement Challenge and to finish my challenge! Metal Gear Solid, I remember playing the demo a lot when I was young and so happy when I got it any played it a bunch. So I wondered how much this replay of the game was going to go all these years later.
It was very nostalgic when hearing for the first time in years, "This is Snake! Colonel, can you hear me?" And from there on I hit the ground running. I forgot that this game didn't have the tranquillizers and tried to CQC enemies but they just get back up quickly and don't stay stunned at all. And you can't force them to sleep with a choke hold. It's kill or sneak. I did love how over the top the game still is and how much 4th wall breaking it was. And being a kid at the time, it took me forever to find Meryl's number. I ended up finding it in the manual if I remember correctly not realizing it was the actual game CD case. And little me thought it was on on the Optical Disc you get from Baker. And more about Meryl, I thought it was so risque that you could see her without her pants at the time. Now though, it just makes me go, why? I also forgot how smooth of a talker Snake is. That and I didn't remember how much they focus on Meryl butt to show you how to find her later. But other then that the game and gameplay is solid. There's some cheap hits you will suffer from if you don't know ahead of time but all in all, still fun.
