One of the most fun platformers I've played, felt super nice to play and control. It was kinda short but I expected that from the beginning so it didn't bother me. Plus, the game has plenty of replayability cause of achievements, unlockable modes, all that jazz. More of a story would have been nice, I didn't realize there were supposed to be different endings until it said "TRY AGAIN" at the end, so it would have been nice to know wtf I did to get that ending and how to get the good one.

One of the very first games I can ever remember calling my favorites, I first played this game in 2016 and my love for it has only grown since. Despite finding quite a bit of flaws with it since I first played it, I'll always have a soft spot for it and everything about it.

Really great game with a story that holds up well to this day. Perfect balance between an RPG and a platformer, exactly what I hoped for out of a Mario RPG.

2020

I was a little hesitant on trying this game, I've never been a big horror buff and was never interested in many other RPG Maker games, but god am I ever glad I gave this a shot. It explores mental health issues in a way I've wanted a game to do for a really long time, and from the ones I can relate to, it did it really accurately. Every plot twist was done super well. The good ending had me a little confused as first, it didn't real feel like it was finished, but I couldn't get it out of my mind for days afterwards and made me reflect so much that I looped back around to loving it. There's so much in this game that just ties everything together and makes way more sense at the end, and I wouldn't have rather it end any other way.
Of course it is an RPG Maker game and it comes with the flaws of that, tile-based movement makes navigating around annoying often but OMOCAT and the team did a super great job considering their engine.
This game is definitely worth a shot if you're an RPG fan, no matter what you like about them, and even whether you're a horror fan or not. Incredible experience, I won't be forgetting about this game anytime soon.

Good game, very rare I get this engaged in a game with the realistic graphic style and such little mechanics, but man this was great. The entire game was essentially one big boss rush and finding out where each bosses weakness was and how to kill them was really really fun. A couple of them were really difficult to figure out to the point where I had to look them up, but that didn't ruin my fun of actually killing them. Exploring the big world on Agro's back was super fun and fluid, and there was so much to discover in the game that I was still finding out new stuff even after beating the game. Ending was phenomenally done especially for being originally from 2005. Definitely worth a play.
