Despite their reputation, particularly in more recent years, some mobile games can still be pretty fun ways to kill time. This list ranks the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to games for phones and tablets.
NOTE: The star-rating I have given these games on their pages reflects my thoughts on the game as a whole and not necessarily how I feel about them as a mobile game. For the purposes of this list, where the games are ranked on the list means more than the star rating I have given them overall, especially if they are available on other platforms.

RANKING CRITERIA:
–Overall Quality
–Price Vs. Quality: For example, a crappy game that costs money will be ranked more harshly than a crappy game that is 100% free or free to play.
–Egregious Microtransactions?: It's a sad reality that a lot of mobile games these days are full-on in-app purchases and microtransactions. If a game has a lot of them or they slow down progress a lot, it will lose points.
–Multiple Platform Rule: If a game has been released on multiple platforms (Plants Vs. Zombies, Skate It, Little Inferno, etc.) I will only be considering how it plays on mobile devices, so I won't be judging something like Skate It on how it compares to the Wii version.
