there is no game in the world that I want a modern remaster of more. sure, the samurai/ninja power fantasy is simulated in loving detail, but you haven't known true combat until you and your opponent are crawling toward each other with your one remaining good arm after you've taken out all of eachother's other limbs , flailing your weapons helplessly at each other like you're crabs with knives

Very fun and unique. Follow the bushido code.

a little too railroaded for my taste but it's still incredibly good. it's easy to tell game freak took an honest, critical look at the formula that started with RBY to figure out how they could improve it (instead of dumping on more feature cruft, looking at you DPPt) and the effort comes through in the final product.

Do you like Where’s Waldo? You do? That’s great! Have you ever wanted to pay $60 for a Where’s Waldo game where you can beat it in 4 minutes? No? Well too bad, because that is what you get. Also, I just wanna point out that this game was developed by Bethesda. You know, the same company who developed The Elder Scrolls and Fallout. I would say they have gotten better with their craft over time, but honestly, that would be a flatout lie.

Game #434

I believe it to be the very best Pokemon game. I think it has the best Pokedex, best overall gameplay, and the extras added are also fun to more experienced players. Also very best starters in my opinion. Sceptile is goated. The game does suffer from a lot of water routes towards the end of the game and the HM's being permanent until Move Deleter is extremely annoying, but you'll be hard pressed to find a more complete Pokemon experience.

Very very good game and such an enriching experience. The game really does combine the best aspects of the previous entries into a 30-40 hour experience that never really does overstay it's welcome. Every Pikmin type previously introduced in older games makes their appearance here and each have their own separate use and utility. The Ice Pikmin and the Glow Pikmin introduced are extremely useful and I love the gameplay mechanics that are introduced there with freezing water and nighttime battles. Not to mention the whole gameplay changes with Oatchi in the mix. I know some people viewed him as a ploy or gimmick, but I always viewed him as a Pikmin/second Captain hybrid. The game has very gorgeous locations and the music is very beautiful and ambient.
I do have some quibbles with the game however. In contrast to the earlier entries, the game is very easy. I found myself basically Oatchi rushing into every enemy with Ice Pikmin and just waiting to win, even some bosses. I thought the Dandori battles unfortunately got very stale after a while especially the later ones so that's what knocks it down for me. And the Sage Leaf challenges are brutal AF. Especially challenge 7 where the auto-aim is working against you the whole time.
Nevertheless these are fairly minor gripes that do not tarnish the experience at all. Very very good Pikmin game

Yeah, it's a very good refreshing Mario sidescroller. There's really not much more I can say. Bunches of playable characters, lots of fun levels that change upon getting Wonder Flowers that turn the game into an acid trip. Elephant power up is goated except for the 5 fingers. That's cursed AF. The game is never unfair or even super difficult save for 2 and I mean only 2 stages. I did manage to get all the Wonder seeds but I'm not bothering with the 10 coins or the flagpoles. The gave was fun and refreshing as is and honestly, I'll be playing this again, probably as Daisy or one of the Toads.
Overall, it's great albeit pretty easy.

This is a horrendously painful game that is almost begging to be save scummed. I will personally kidnap every developer, tie them to a chair, and force them to watch boring French art house movies for three days straight so they can feel even a fraction of the pain I experienced playing this pure torture.
10/10 go play it, it's excellent. I love the gore, unique boss fights, and destructible environments.

revisiting wii games is crazy cause i'll think "dang nintendo games got really stale in this era" and then remember it moved like eleven billion copies
