A good indie game

❤ :
- The music is refreshing and intriguing, changing when it's day or night.
- The global aesthetic and colors of the game are very calming and makes the exploration rather pleasant.

💔 :
- The graphic style made certains areas difficult to see and gave me a headache after a while.
- The mark points system is really not practical.
- the vessel which is not so easy to pilot.

A breath of fresh air in the Final Fantasy franchise.

❤ :
- Intense, epic and emotional music worthy of the FF saga.
- Dynamic combat system with different strategy angles to apply.
- A great semi open exploration experience similar to FF XII.
- The eidolons designs that sticks perfectly to the sci-fi theme.

💔 :
- Some whining characters got on my nerves.
- A light narrative frame compared to its predecessors.
- Quite repetitive with the stagger system.

A disappointing third title.

❤ :
- A beautiful soundtrack made by Inon Zur.
- Some interesting puzzles.

💔 :
- Confusing mechanics and camera, especially with the controller.
- The franchise missing it's soul and Sokal's touch.
- Horrendous dubbing.
- Cliché characters with no depth.

A truly haunting game.

❤ :
- The title screen and the first 30 minutes.
- The music is a masterpiece. Simple yet extremely sad and emotional.
- The story hurts. It's beautiful and well paced. It gives you the time to let the emotions sink in and makes you stressed and tense at the same time.
- The environments are immersive.
- The characters are well written, every apparitions and interactions are striking. Especially when it comes to the protagonists.

💔 :
- Characters breaking the immersion by running around during tense moments.
- A blind AI.

A great game if you have nothing else to do.

❤ :
- Great puzzles, some are really challenging to do. Makes you use different game mechanics.
- The environments are cool and represents well each character.
- A cool way to remind yourself or discover the Greek mythology.

💔 :
- The narrator is… tiring (even if he's somehow likable).
- Too childish for my liking.
- Found it repetitive after a while (the reason I stopped playing it).

I wish I liked this game...

❤ :
- The all black character designs are really cool and so are the floating weapons.
- The music is beautiful, it made me walk around just to hear it.
- The boss fights.

💔 :
- Really, REALLY repetitive. Especially when you have to go from point A to point B.
- I thought I would enjoy the combat system but that was a bit… meh.
- The fanservice.
- The environments are rather empty.
- I felt like I was wasting my time. Redoing the same story over and over for tiny plot elements was not my thing.

An cogent and immersive journey.

❤ :
- The environment is wonderful. Very rich with plenty of variations, it's colorful and immersive.
- The 3D-ish map (similar to Far Cry 5) which I find really cool.
- The designs. Very spot on, believable and full of details. The artistic direction is very polished.
- The bestiary.

💔 :
- The story is not the strong point for me. There is so many quests that you kind of lose the narrative arc from your sight.
- Your choices have no impact whatsoever.
- Characters with a general lack of charisma.

I liked the ending more than the game itself. Not because it was over but because it tied everything together perfectly.

❤ :
- The relationship with the group is great which makes you attached to the characters.
- The end made me cry a lot like many other FFs and that is a good thing.
- The dynamic combat system is cool but has nothing to do with the other FFs, so be aware of that, especially if you love strategy.
- The car ! I loved driving through the map listening to the radio.
- Breathtaking cutscenes, I haven't been this impressed in a while.

💔 :
- Jumps scares. Why is there jump scares.
- The game is overall superficial: no impacting musics or characters…
- The love story is bland.

What a game... and one of my firsts.

❤ :
- THE MUSIC… The best FF music in my opinion. From ominous to plain epic but also deeply emotional. Some of the soundtracks still makes me want to cry just hearing them.
- The story is heartbreaking and the lore is very interesting to dive into.
- The aeons system/lore is better than it's predecessors.
- A good variety of landscapes with an interesting bestiary.

💔:
- The cloister of Trials.
- An unkillable antagonist, like, seriously.
- Blitzball.
- AH AH AH AH AH AH !

I fell in love with that game.
For some of the licence fans, this opus is the ugly duckling of the dragon age franchise. But that's not my case.

❤ :
- The characters are lovable, each one has their own story and most of them moved me deeply. The party banter is as enjoyable as in the other DAs.
- Beautiful BGM, but not enough in my opinion, I wish there were more exploration music.
- The romances and friendships are so well done…
- Challenging battles, especially against dragons.
- Customization as a whole.
- The replayability as there is multiple romances, races and classes.
- The codex cards illustrations and 2D cutscenes.
- The DLCs are NEEDED. Truly adds value to the game (but I wish some of its lore were in the original game…)

💔:
- Atrocious jump/exploration system that makes you jump backwards and make some of the parkour parts really frustrating.
- The mounts are useless, I did all the game by foot.
- A bit repetitive with some tasks, especially the requisition ones.
- Exploration in empty maps.

So in love I played it for the 7th time last month.
