Sigh... a sex fridge ? Really ?

❤ :
- Great artistic direction and world building that takes every aspect of USSR propaganda and 50s aesthetic to an other level.
- The graphics are surprisingly good !
- Quite immersive, makes you want to learn more about the lore.
- Interesting puzzles.

💔 :
- I'm tired to see nothing but oversexualized female characters. The twins would've been interesting but they chose not to. Nearly died from cringe.
- Only one or two memorable OST.
- Non stop spawning mobs, give me a break to explore !
- But explore what ? As there is nothing to see and rarely something to loot.

2022

Wow... We're doomed.

❤ :
- Stunning OST. I haven't been impressed in a while, and Guillaume David did a fantastic job.
- Really really cool story with great characters.
- Interesting exploration system.
- Beautiful graphics and build designs.

💔 :
- Can be very overwhelming as you have to do everything at the same time.
- You have to restart if you did not optimize your ship space.

Was I supposed to laugh ?

❤ :
- Colorful environments with a few good designs.

💔 :
- The characters and jokes are just unfunny.
- The weapon is non stop talking with a whiny stuttering tiring voice. Made me irritated tbh.
- The gameplay is… not that entertaining.
- The graphics and facial animations are not it for me.
- Terribly boring.
- Constent 4th wall breaking.

What is even going on ?

❤ :
- Cools mini games that makes you want to master them.
- A few funny dialogues.

💔 :
- Graphics straight from 2015, even knowing this is a love letter to the good old games, this isn't working for me.
- The art direction is janky and forgettable.
- Ennemies are bullet sponges, even in normal mode which make the combat long and tiring.
- Overall bad voice acting.
- No new main weapons or combos.
- The story and dialogues are absolute nonsense. It's all over the place, it just made me lost from start to finish.
- Empty environment with no map.

First discovered it watching my mom play as a kid. Loved it ever since.

❤ :
- Beautiful OST, truly iconic after all this time.
- Amazing side and class quests with well written characters.
- Great graphics and textures for it's time.
- Balanced combat system between magic, stealth and basic attacks.
- Plenty of races and classes each having their pros and cons.

💔 :
- The dialogues are really clumsy but lowkey funny
- MUD CRABS ffs.

Stop right here criminal scum !

Would've been better if she stayed in NY.

❤ :
- Interesting and satisfying character movements during the running and exploration phases.
- Few well designed mobs and bosses.
- Good fighting gameplay, a bit too busy on the screen tho.

💔 :
- Overall cliché characters, including the protagonist.
- Weak and uneven artistic direction without personality that makes the world bland and uninteresting (which the luminous engine accentuates).
- A repetitive OST that could have been more striking.
- FOUL language. Usually not a con, but really is tiring in this game.
- Awkward dialogues with good 3/4 seconds of blank before someone speaks again.
- Non stop talking and way too often one liners during fights, good thing that the developers made an option to turn it off.

This game became my oasis.

❤ :
- The music transported me right away. It's epic, saddening… Ubisoft did a wonderful job with this opus.
- The story is interesting and full of intrigues.
- The characters are great. I find the protagonist to be rather touching.
- Insane landscapes, colorful cities and really beautiful lively environment. Made me wander in the desert and observe the world at the top of the pyramids.
- Badass villains with really cool designs and stories.

💔:
- The mounts are a bit clumsy.
- NPC always trying to rescue you from drowning.

Hahaha... I was having fun. Or was I ?

❤ :
- The intro is amazing, very cinematic and beautifully rendered.
- The radio. I also enjoyed that the character sings along.
- Cool outfits and fun weapons.
- The pet companions. Some for stealth other for making a mess.
- Pretty fun to do in coop.

💔:
- The bugs. Most of them made me burst of laugh because of how stupid they looked. But still.
- The characters have no charisma.
- The AI is… a mess. But it's Ubisoft, I'm getting used to it at this point.
- The story is average, can't say it's bad.

A complicated and meh experience.

❤ :
- Beautifully documented landscapes and cities, took plenty of screenshots.
- Really cool variety of pretty armors and weapons.
- Many skills and builds.
- An overall ok story with a ton of side quests.
- The bad guys.

💔 :
- A not so well done RPG-like looting system that results in your inventory being full 24/7.
- The map is too big for my liking.
- The NPCs thinks you work for UPS.
- Very bugged.

Game and masterpiece of the decade.

❤ :
- Excellent story telling and writing. Transports you right away in the world's political and global context.
- Beautiful shaders and lights that enhance the beauty of the environments and settings.
- Nuanced quests with a bitter sweet feeling to them.
- Insane voice acting with striking and tangible characters.
- Great variety of builds. Malleable as you wish.
- Your actions have true repercussions.

💔 :
- Clumsy jumping system that results in a somewhat tedious exploration.
- Controlling the horse is a torture, they get stuck on the tiniest objects, refuses to jump...
- Too many water treasure hunting in my opinion.

Alice in a bad trip. Will make you confused, charmed and traumatized.

❤ :
- The macabre interpretation of Lewis Carroll' story.
- The 2D inked cutscenes reminding us of the book's illustrations.
- The dress changing depending which area we're in.
- A great platformer with dreamy/nightmarish environments that makes you want to explore.

💔 :
- The camera seems to be mad as well making combats and platforming annoying.
- Not really charmed by the OST.
- A bit short (around 15h max).

A game that wouldn't blush next to Hotline Miami.

❤ :
- The OST slaps. It's catchy, addictive, dark and has this "Hotline Miami" feeling.
- A captivating 16-bit VHS synthwave aesthetic.
- An intriguing story.

💔 :
- A D&T that can be a bit too frustrating in certain aspects.
- Too short.

Made me want to move to England.

❤ :
- The radio stations with plenty of different styles of music.
- Beautiful game with many details.
- A dynamic weather changing every week with the seasons.
- Lots of things to do, in the online or in solo.
- The freedom of being able to do anything you want.

💔:
- Curious rollbacks that breaks the immersion often.
- Toxic players that enjoy blocking you more than driving.
- Wish the map was bigger.
- No Toyota or Mitsubishi…

A good game to drive away from your problems.

❤ :
- The various radio stations. From rock to drum and bass, you'll find your fave music genre to drive to.
- The real recorded car noises made the experience more realistic.
- A motley map with beautiful landscapes and cities where you can drive on snow, sand, mud or the road.
- Great tuning options especially with Japanese cars.
- Fun online game modes.

💔 :
- An unstable online with a few crashes at its launch.
- Trees and rocks desperately trying to destroy your hype.

A unwanted but welcome sequel.

❤ :
- Some catchy and jazzy soundtracks.
- The ATB combat system that showed the way for the next FFs.
- I got to see Tidus again.

💔 :
- Feels a bit off after FFX's ending.
- The magical girl/ girl band side.
- Incomprehensible mini games.
