(Difficulty: Give Me Deus Ex)
As my first Deus Ex game, it took some time for me to get into it. It just felt a bit slow and clunky, and I thought our protagonist was a bit rigid and cheesy. After spending a bit more time with Adam, that might still be the case to be fair, but it all comes together really well after I got my bearings a bit.
Stealth and take-downs are really fun. Upgrading and leveling up is well paced and is very impactful.
The cutscenes are well done and some of the villains are really awesome. The story was pretty gripping especially towards the later chapters.
So many different dialog options and ways to play the game. This is a great rpg because it does allow so many ways to approach combat, dialog, and leveling.
Worth a playthrough absolutely! I would not recommend the hardest difficulty unless you want a real challenge.

An amazing turn-based RPG.

(Difficulty: Very Hard)
This is an amazing FPS/TPS RPG. It's leveling system is so fun and there are an incredible amount of things to do in the Commonwealth.
I was constantly distracted by the settlement building.
VATS is fun as hell. Companions have soul and their VA's are incredible.
Your choices feel like they mean something. Some decisions were incredibly difficult for me to make.
So many different paths to take. A plethora of enemy types. 100's of different weapons and plenty of weapon types.
You can choose from thousands of different builds and play-styles. The story is fun and engaging.
Very hard difficulty is pretty silly but a great grind.
KILLER GAME!!!

(Difficulty: Spectacular)
This game is amazing, pun intended. Swinging around the city itself is so damn fun I fast travelled only but a few times in 15 hours. Unfortunately I also 100 % the game is 15 hours.
My short time with Miles was a blast, fast and furious. You really do feel like a super hero whether your helping save the neighborhood by rescuing helpless animals or battling gangs in underground bases.
The music, the feel, sound direction, cinematography, villains, controls, progression, leveling system, story. This game has it all. Not only does it have it all, it does them VERY WELL!
This is the Miles show and he absolutely killed it. Don't miss this one.

(Difficulty: Very Hard)
Flying through space and having a dog-fight with an enemy ship is so gripping. Exploring caves and finding rare materials and a hive of enemies is a blast.
There are so many highs of Starfield. So many things were done right. I love the combat, when it's working as intended. There is ship-building, homesteading, making colonies on other planets, gun-customization, among so many other amazing systems put into the game. Leveling up is a treat and the skill trees are super rewarding. The characters and companions are some of my favorite and some of the conversations really feel heavy and heart-felt. Not to mention the voice acting is SWEET!
There are enough problems with Starfield that I'm not entirely 'on-board' the metaphorical ship that is this game. While I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it, there are just some strange design choices that are not all good. Some of the dungeons and caves feel a bit empty, while others seem populated with loot and enemies galore. There are some bugs but nothing too concerning. Graphics dip below 60 frames somewhat frequently. A bit too much time is requested of you scanning objects and environments. A missing VATS or some more levels to combat would have been welcome. There is some depth to combat including blocking and some very fun ragdoll physics.
Starfield rocks even though there are some misses that could have easily been avoided. Overall Starfield really has so many fun things to do and look at and experience, and some systems are so damn well done, even though it may not be a perfect game.

One of the best of all time. It doesn't get much better than this. "Beautiful and Brutal"

(Difficulty: Very Hard)
A true work of art. If you have a propensity for open world rpgs at all, then this game will knock your socks off.
Fallout 3 is rewarding and amazing. So much depth and consequential decision making. Everything you do and say has a real effect on your relationships and environments.
Actual moral dilemmas, fun weapons, great voice acting. Funny as hell. The writing and delivery is strong, self-aware, and intelligent.
Value levels are off the charts with Fallout 3. Just under 40 hours for my first playthrough but I left SO MUCH undiscovered. This game could eat 100 hours easily from me.
DLC's are very fun and unique.
My only gripe is that the game will likely crash at an inopportune time and you might possibly get stuck in between two rocks which inevitably leads to a restart.

(Difficulty: Hard)
The action is crispy, the characters are wild and absurd in the best way. The voice acting is incredible. Just like the last titles, it had me laughing my ass off and shedding quite a few tears.
Yakuza Kiwami 2 touches on a variety of themes such as family, pride, greed, and love. It can hit deep and Ryu Ga Gotoku Studios gives characters depth and reasoning behind their actions. Some of the main cast is so well done that I find myself entranced seeing how things play out.
Mini-Games galore. There are a ton of fun, interactive, and challening mini-games that break up the tension of the main story. Some of the more notable mini-games have a lot to do and unlock. I found myself constantly getting distracted to go sing some karaoke or manage my caberet club.
Of course Kiryu steals the show as our rigid yet lovable protagonist. Grounded and unwavering, he is always ready to help those in need and will do anything for those he loves. Ryuji Goda and Majima Goro are both fantastic as well.
One of the only complaints I have is that some systems are slightly more simplified compared to the previous two titles in the series but that doesn't mean it's not worth the playthrough.
Wielding a nameless katana, a stun-gun, and a crowbar Kiryu and the rest of our merry band kick so much ass and have so much great content to share it's tough to put this one down.

Solid.
It's missing things and has some problems but it is gruesomely satisfying blasting demons and getting gear.
The graphics are stellar.

Part intriguing puzzle, part exceptional platformer, and all fps. This game is something very special and is so well-made I found myself applauding the developers time and time again.
What starts as a regular day in an underground facility quickly turns sinister. Gordan Freeman is our voiceless protagonist in an orange suit wielding a crow-bar and some other handy weapons and explosives I would dare not spoil. It starts a bit slow but quickly ramps up into something that feels very fleshed out and quite challenging at the hardest difficulty. Heavy and weighted gun play, monstrously aware enemies, and tight jumps left me always excited for the next section. The ambiance and atmosphere is well constructed and some of the writing is very funny. It takes itself seriously but finds time to pepper in jokes and unexpected irreverence.
Boss fights and levels can feel sometimes cramped and other times overwhelmingly vast.
So many sections I had no idea what was coming next in the best way.
This is also not a game for the faint of heart. It wants you to explore and find things out on your own which is so fun. Every puzzle and hidden passage to find the next area is so satisfying because nothing is just handed to you. It gives metroid-vania vibes constantly.
Game crashed on me once in 20 hours and I had very few instances of frame drops. Also a few very minor clipping issues but everything else is wonderful.
Holds up in 2023 and many developers STILL TO THIS DAY don't do things as well as Black Mesa does. This is a gem and I highly recommend.

(Difficulty: Normal)
As for the story mode, there is a lot left to be desired. The campaign is very short and pretty cheesy as well. There are some problems with cinematics and audio.
YOU CAN NOT PLAY THIS GAME IF YOU DO NOT HAVE/MAKE A UBISOFT ACCOUNT.
Unfortunately, there is not much character development which is something I would have loved to see. Much of the voice work is pretty enjoyable.
That being said, there are plenty of fun sections storming castles and brutally murdering your enemies. The combat feels really satisfying and challenging. The uniqueness is a really strong step in the right direction but I'm not sure enough of the meat is there. The executions are fun as hell and also vital to your survivability as they give you health.
This game feels like it needed some more time to cook, there are a lot of enjoyable aspects if you can find the game for very cheap.

Controls are slightly frustrating at times but it's a fantastic game. A monument of platforming genius. I wouldn't pass this up.
