Bio
Born in 1986. Grown up on a NES (PAL) with: Mario 1,2,3, Zelda, Ice Climber, Mega Man 2, Rygar, Duck Hunt, Kid Icarus. My friends had Rush 'n Attack, Gremlins, Festers Quest, Turtles, Star Wars, Track & Field, Indiana Jones and Game Boy.

SNES (PAL) that only came with SMBW and unfortunately I would only buy a few expensive platformer games: DKC 1,2,3, Mickey Mania and totally missed the good JRPG stuff: ALTTP, SoM, FFIV-VI, CT where you needed a modified SNES and import super expensive games!)

Traded the SNES for a N64: Mario 64, Zelda OoT, Zelda MM, Wave Race, Holy Magic Century/Quest 64, Perfect Dark, DK64.

Started getting PS-games: Ghost in the Shell and FF7 in wait for my first PS-console – the PS2.
Played through FFVI, FFVII, FFIX, MGS2, Devil May Cry, Gregory's Horror Show but didn't enjoy FFX and FFXII.

Then jumped off gaming.

Came back thanks to Okami, Odin Sphere and Persona 4.
Sold off most things and am now digital only with PS5 DE and PC.

Very generous, fun in short bursts Dreamcast-Outrigger-Quake 3 Arena-kind of insane fresh ARCADE-feel at times.

No P2W and I had to buy just one season pass worth of coins just to support the game..Still haven’t used the coins since I don’t need any skins or stuff and am content with all the content being thrown at me.

The downside is all the banners and shiny links to gatchas and stuff. But if you can un-see and avoid caring about such bloat YOU ARE IN FOR A RIDE MY FRIEND.

I was surprised ghow non-toxic the game was for me at least. I don’t play BR mode so much and haven’t played in teams with voice over. My female friend obviously have experience of toxicism in it as is common in these kind of games though.

Zombie mode is poayable but 6/10. BR is kind of trashy 7-8/10 I would say. Multiplayer/MP is arcady fresh and fun and 8-9/10 I would say.

Excellent generous F2P MMO Journey + Music instrument simulator.

YOU DON’T HAVE TO SPEND A PENNY. IAP’S ARE ALMOST ONLY COSMETIC ITEMS. BUT PLEASE SUPPORT THE DEVELOPERS WITH WHAT YOU THINK IT’S WORTH.

Judging by how the game doesn’t need you spending a penny for cosmetics and how well the servers generally work providing free access on iOS/Android/Switch/PS4/PS5/Steam (60fps 4K on PS5. Steam version is fully playable although stillnot officially 100% released) it’s a shame this game is only on 45th place on F2P-list on PSN in Scandinavia. But you need to play on Mobile/Tablet and use an external keyboard and controller to really enjoy it fully IMO. The music instruments playing is VERY fun and for that you need a touch screen so basically Mobile/Tablet/Switch/(Steam Deck?)

Highly recommended and unlike anything else you have played. It’s only online and you can’t unfriend people just block them so you have to interact and tell people off nicely and develop your social skills. The world is watching and playing together with you always. – Sky:COTL teaches you how to be nice, kind and patient with each other — something the world desperately needs today.

Nice version where you can choose EU, US or JPN-version but beware that either region will be default depending on where you live. In CotM there is no difference between US and EU but be careful not playing the included SNES game on EU-version.

A great detail I noticed a bit late is that you can open a super nice bestiary and item encyclopedia from within the game so thanks to that you don't really have to check up things on your phone which I hate having to do.

Cotm is game with an original and quite original and nice weapon system locked inside a quite frustrating card-collecting system where you only can get cards, armour and items from enemies; and the frustrating thing with CotM is that the drop rate is extremely low.

You almost never find any potions and you can't sell any duplicant items for money and buy stuff.

However, the level design is not that bad except for too much repetitive collecting of Mana and Health pools.

The bosses are quite fun except the last boss.
(No one mentions this but The twin dragons are easy if you go all the way to the left/right and then slide underneath after baiting their head slams)

The music is good although much are older remade songs.

Since it is a Koji Igarashi made Metrodivania (or as they call it "Igavania") with simple but punchy pixel-palette and good responsive controls it is highly enjoyable and thus a 8/10 game in my book since I like simpler metroidvanias. But the bad drop rates and some simplified and boring level design has CotM fall to a 7/10 at its worst.
