Being the introduction to the megaten series to the west and what better way than to show your mascot game in Nintendo's new "innovative" console.
The game is a top down shooter puzzle game where you go through 5 stages to go back to the monster world as either of the 3 jack bros the plot of the game goes. the 3 selectable characters Frost, Lantern, and Skeleton have different abilities to could go for a different playstyle. The plot of the game is very cute and charming for SMT standards and seemed to be aimed at kids as most of the demon names were simplified for a Western audience. That being said, the game plays like an arcade title in the way that the difficulty spikes up extremely high due to the game's obstacles and the game's health system. Instead of having hit points your timer is your health so depending on what you get hit by you lose HP making the final boss extremely hard due to not the boss itself, but the spikes that are borderline hard to dodge with the bullets the boss is shooting. Was overall a nice cute game until the end level being extremely hard

This game is everything I wanted in a remake since i have never actually finished the original FES verison, this was my opportunity to finally play it with modern graphics and changes. Personally I didnt mind the gameplay loop of going to Tartarus reach the road block and continue the story because I really enjoyed the pacing because I felt there were fewer parts that felt like a slog compared to persona 5 not to mention there isn't a cat nagging at you to go to sleep every day so it feels like you have more control in your free time in that regard. As of the date I'm writing this review, this is my favorite cast and story of the series due to how strong the overall plot and the synergy of the team with this overarching theme the story tells and its execution is done really well. The cast is probably my favorite in the series because of their synergy and their interactions through the story (Junpei is da man 😎). The recasting of the voice actors was a great move since all the major cutscenes of the game are great and give the same emotion and maybe even stronger than FES/portable. This is definitely the definitive version to play the game if you are playing it for the first time or if you played FES/Portable before. There is a very high chance you will cry at this game

This game was a massive improvement to the already decent first game and you get one of the strongest entries in the series. Every single case is connected in someway and the twists of whats going on is just great just like any other Ace Attorney game. Edgeworth continues to grow even further as a character (whos secretly a weeb for Steel Samurai) as hes strays away from what made him an antagonist from the previous entries. The new characters were just great and were as just well developed as Edgeworth was with the antagonist being very interesting to find out who it was. i thought every single case (case 2 was probably the weakest) was extremely solid and just kept getting more interesting as you kept playing. the localizers did a great job to make it just like an official translation

Damn my 500 dollar cooling fan came with a game cool bonus

This game is great it takes all the strengths from the previous entries and you get the most fun combat system of the entire series. The story and characters both old and new continue to be likable and fun. This game does Nero more justice as he is much better in this game as the main protagonist. The combos in this game flow so well and gives 3 unique play styles with Dante, Nero and V. Probably my least favorite parts in the game are probably the V sections as he isnt as much in the enemies face and for some reason he gets the boss gauntlet level. This game was so good i ended up playing it twice with playing vergil on hard difficulty which gave me one of the most fun experiences i ever had with an action game with the final boss fights in the game being a fun challenge

Its probably because i chose to play legendary dark knight mode but this game was very frustrating to play both because it had an absurd amount of enemies ganging up on you and the whiplash of figuring out Neros controls as i did not hate his combat style in comparison to Dante, but it affected my overall experience of the game. Nero suffers the new protagonist syndrome since I assume people were expecting to play dante again but thats the least of the problems with 4. The game from what i heard was incomplete and it shows with Dante's part of the game being literally Nero's section but backwards. The combat is still fun and so is some of the boss battles. The story is as dmc as it gets Nero was definetely the call to make the series fun but still fresh with the introduction of a new protaganist

being a prequel to the original dmc, dmc3 is probably one of the best of the series for having a very fun battle system. the boss fights are probably the most fun of the series and has a great story which gives the proper introduction to Vergil and Lady. This game would be where the Dante that makes cheesy insults and loves pizza came from as he would be more likable as he already was. Overall takes the strengths of dmc1 (im not including 2) and makes it better

A very decent starting entry to the series. The game takes upon some Resident Evil quirks with camera angles which probably what makes some of the levels in the game very frustrating to go through. Weirdly enough liked the punishing nature of this game that you have to reset to the start of the level after you run out of lives challenging you to play the level as best as you can. Despite the game only taking place in one area, it is probably a very fun game to play through and figure out the patterns of the boss fights. The story is decent in introducing Dante and the antagonist of the game and a weird plot twist I will not mention here. Overall fun action game with a decent difficulty and an alright story.

At this point I'm in the rabbit hole of fire emblem and this game got my curiosity because it's considered the darkest in the series and I wanted to know why. The gameplay is different from the rest of the series with every character having their own inventory and money which at list can get convoluted. If you want to give items to other characters there's also arenas which do not kill off the unit if they lose which makes it a good option to level up. There's also fixable weapons as you can have Sigurd run the sliver sword for the rest of the game without worrying about it being gone forever. The marriage system ends up being a predecessor to the support system which ends up having some nice dialogue around the mid point of the game. The game has the largest maps in the series as there is only 11 maps (prologue and 10 chapters). The story is probably my favorite of the series due to having great characters and due to it having one of the biggest twists i seen in an rpg. The protagonist is great both gameplay and character wise with his interactions with the various characters in the game. I'm really hoping this game gets a remake for it to fix its quirks

Basically just polishes up what blazing blade and binding blade did right and made it a more fun experience to go through. Great characters and great pixel art portraits. This game makes supports and being able to level up much better to handle as you can do skirmishes and the tower if you want to build up supports or levels. The support conversations just as great here as they were in blazing blade and even gives more lore to the story. The villain is probably the best of the gba games by far. This is the best gameplay wise out of the GBA fire emblem games

After a long break from the series since binding blade being extremely difficult for me, blazing blade was a much better introduction to the series as it teaches you the various mechanics well through "Lyn mode" where you start off the story with one of the main lords of the series. The levels in this game are more fun to go through as they are less brutal than the ones in binding blade. It was introduced in binding blade, but I really did supports starting off with this game and it really gives more depth to the 3 lords and characters with the only downside being that a character can only A rank with one character so you will end up not seeing most of the supports. I thought the story is great and especially if you completed a certain support it would blend in well with the storyline.

This was my introduction to the series by accident due to me mixing up binding blade and blazing blade up and ended up playing one of the hardest fire emblem games in the series it doesn't help that the tutorial for this game is hidden in extras which would have been useful to know beforehand. Accuracy is fucked in this game as archers and fighters will practically not hit anything 90% of the time. The maps can be tough especially mid game and the game will punish you if you misplace a unit that's low health. Despite it all this being the introduction of the series for me I understood the appeal of the series and strategy RPGs in general because of this game. (Still fuck ch21 I still have PTSD of that chapter to this day). The story for the game is alright but probably has the hardest requirement to get the good true ending of the game as it requires you to beat all the gaiden levels. The game was overall fun to play through but was difficult as a beginner to the series

The first game i was left feeling extremely weird about because of how absolutely insane and absurd that ending was. I had left this game on the backlog for years due to knowing one of the biggest spoilers of the game. The executions are probably the most brutal of the series and leave you incredibly empty inside in classic Danganronpa fashion. My rating is mostly hurt by the ending leaving me an extremely sour taste of the series as a whole although i understand what was the message behind the ending. The actual cases and investigations were great and the new debate scrum was probably the best addition to the trials. Truly the game of all time

This game is basically persona 4.5 as it would be used later on as the graphics for the more popular game Persona 5. The story is ridiculous as we go in the pov of vincent as hes going through a crisis of a decision that might change his life forever the various routes are interesting including the new route (Rin) which was extremely odd but good which was added to full body. I ended up doing two routes which was Katherine and Rin i would have done the last girl but I did not want to play through the game again since it can get repetitive i might play through again to see the final route. The voice acting is in classic Atlus fashion of being great and humorous.

I LOVE DEEMCEE TWO DONTE IS THE BEAST HE SHOOT THE GUN AND HE WIN
