This game objectively isn't very great like, at all, but it also objectively has the best video game music ever composed so naturally it is the best game ever made. I'd make a sweep joke but I have a lot of random Sonic games no one cares about that I may play soon so I'll hold off on it for now.

If you're ever told to burn a copy of this then it's actually people telling you it's fire.

Downloaded the GBA version of this on my GBA Emulator as a joke and over the course of the day I actually beat all of it. It was genuinely a lot better then I expected, but I hope it says something that this is the best piece of Open Season media I’ve experienced and the majority of the time it’s just a mediocre 2D platformer. Sad that this used to be Sony’s headlining franchise before hotel Transylvania.

This game has like a million different ironically hilarious quotes I could share for a review if I wanted to, but I think it should tell you everything about this game's over the top edginess when I say that the menus have gunshot sound effects when you click on certain options, and nearly every time you die Shadow will respond by saying "D A M N". Really bad game for sure although if you want some ironic enjoyment I'd just recommend trying one playthrough and leaving it at that, not worth 10 fucking playthroughs to get to a last story segment that ruins the whole point the game was going for.

"Hey Everyone. I know you wanna buy my stocks, BUT F U C K Y O U, I ' M K E E P I N G T H E S T O C K S."

I think it’s most likely due to how this released on the console two years after the SNES dropped for some reason, but I’m pretty confident in saying this is the nicest looking NES Game I’ve played this far. All of the colours look really nice and the sprites are probably the most detailed and nice looking I’ve seen on an NES Game, mainly with Dedede’s expression in the final world after Kirby fucks up and accidentally causes the world to nearly end like a dumbass. Anyways while this is definitely not the best Kirby game I’ve played thus far and some stuff does get a little repetitive like all the times you fight random enemies Meta Knight throws at you, but compared to some other NES Games around this time it’s aged remarkably well and I dunno if I can be mad at the game that started the tradition of fucked up hellspawn Kirby bosses.
(Also this is a side note but how much of a hot take is it to have cutter as your favourite copy ability, I’m pretty confident in it and beam being my top two.)

Genuinely really loved this. Has so many fantastic elements added to the Kirby formula like the waddle dee town, mouthful mode, copy ability upgrades and the 3D World like Waddle Dee Collection System but on top of that is has Car Kirby. That’s the end of the review buy the game because of car Kirby, it’s as good as you’ve heard. First Kirby pinball land and now this, the Kirby franchise is more goated then I remembered.

I'm ending the South Park binge.

Genuinely do not see how Mario Kart as a franchise can get better then this, now that the Booster Course has doubled base 8 we got the widest selection of tracks we've ever had filled with mostly bangers (repetitive city courses aside!) and the most comfortable feeling controls in any Mario Kart entry. Was skeptical about the Booster Course going into it considering the copying of some Tour tracks and the general cheapness compared to the base 8 offerings, but I think the amount of bangers new and old combined with the quantity still made it worth the price overall and also they added back the two best things about this franchise (Wiggler and 3DS Rainbow Road) so yk I can't really complain at all! At this point I don't really know how things will go in the future, the inevitable Mario Kart 9 is gonna have to step back considering this whole package is like the peak peak amount of content in a Mario Kart game and at a certain point adding more is definitely gonna feel overwhelming. Or maybe Nintendo won't care and they'll do "8 Deluxe Deluxe" or some shit and it's like quadruple the course idfkjiefokofekfeok, this is like the highest selling Mario game ever now so it's not impossible! But uh idk I won't about that for now, was a blast down memory lane going through this one against and for a game I've been playing for nearly 10 years at this point it could be a lot worse! Once again thank you James Gunn for this and for making The Guardians of the Galaxy as we know them today.

This is my Dark Souls 2.

I'm not gonna explain the whole backstory behind this game and how it was originally Doki Doki Panic because I think anyone who is a big enough fan of Mario knows that already, but the point is because of the fact that wasn't even a Mario Game originally, this one 100% feels the most different out of any of the NES era Mario games. No stomping on enemies to kill them, no timer, a more labyrinth like structure instead of just going from left to right, a lack of common Mario enemies, and a complete lack of Bowser all make this game much different then what comes before and after in the 2D Mario Saga and while I can see people enjoying the game less because of that, I personally got a lot of this more different style of Mario. The more puzzle like elements were pretty fun to go through albeit a bit to vague in parts, the addition of having multiple playable characters like Luigi Peach and Toad and them actually playing different unlike Mario 1 is cool and while it does get annoying after a while hearing the same fucking song in every level, the music for the most part is still well done like the rest of Mario's soundtracks are despite a bit more variety being greatly appreciated. So even though I literally only played it because Chaotique was spamming the box art, I really enjoyed Mario Bros 2 and was a nice unique change of pace compared to the same been their done that feeling again from the repetitiveness of the NSMB franchise. Not playing Lost Levels though, I'm to much of a pussy for that shit. Off to Mario 3 I go.

Changed my mind this game's goated.

Got in a #Kirbymindset as of recent largely due to just thinking about the franchise and how much I love it, I don't really have a consistent video game grind anymore as I find it very easy to lose my commitment to them with other mediums but uh even still I had a MASSIVEE Kirby phase a few years back that's given the character a special place in my heart. They're all very simplistic games when it comes to how they're designed which fits with Sakurai's general montra of "Easy to learn hard to master", but that combined with the general innocence of the character makes them all very comforting games for me with ones like Planet Robobot Return to Dreamland or the very recent Forgotten Land becoming all time favourites for me. In fact this recent kick might get me to play some of those again, this statement could go either way and potentially be horribly outdated but I have a lot of ground to cover with him so we'll see! But uh anyway decided to fufill this recent urge and go back to this one due to it being a brisk 5 levels, and uh it being that short is both this game's biggest weakness and biggest strength at the same time. Biggest weakness in that because of it I couldn't really call it one I'd urge many to actively play much, in fact Super Star just remakes it all in one of its modes so it sometimes begs the question as to why it should even be playedjikefofe. It's SO simple that this is pre Kirby's iconic Copy Ability move, which in some aspects I appreciate as in later games I almost never use his ability to suck shit up and hurl em back at enemies but still it's kind of weird playing a Kirby game like that! However I'd also call its biggest strength as it's one that's very easy to pick up and play casually, the Gameboy has a lot of games like this that were built for simplicity but I think this is one of the best examples as you literally got those 5 levels that if you're good enough you can beat in just a little over half an hour. And yk for a game built in that vein I think Kirby's Dream Land is very fun! It's got some of the best music on the handheld, levels that while not overly complicated have a very nice vibe to them that makes it easy to relax to, and while I do think it's sort padding to make you fight all the bosses a second time when if you're doing this all in one go you'd have done them like right before I do reallllyyy like that last Dedede fight that ends the game on a very high note. Despite it kind of just being a game of waiting for him to jump so you can hit the stars at him the simplicity of it combined with the banger music makes it super effective, + on this playthrough I had to cut in real clutch with 1 health point left on last life so doing beating it then felt super awesome genuinelyefijkfeokfe. Plus in a morbid sense it's funny our first final boss with a King Penguin before it morphed into other worldy gods every other game, what a franchise this is really! But uh TLDR is Kirby's Dream Land is a LOT of fun, I haven't tried out that Extra Mode cuz I hear it's a pain in the ass but maybe I should considering how enjoyable this revisit was! Something something better then Mario Kart 64, goodbye everybody it's funny when I remember what a "Backloggd" is!

Where is copy abilities.😡😡😡
