Great GAME. It's simple & rly addicting.
STORY is bare-bones & doesn't hinder gameplay.
My only grievances are that the bosses are f*cking difficult as hell, cuz they are immune to magic and kill you instantly.
I think I would give this GAME a 3/5 if I didn't play it w. safe-states. The final boss was also a disappointment gameplay wise.
To be frank, I rate this GAME higher than TERRANIGMA.

A really FUN GAME. Unfortunate that I couldn't beat the FINAL BOSS and then lost my current save then.

It's the MAGNUM OPUS of the Rhythm Heaven series.
Play the JP or PAL version, cuz being forced to only have the EN dub like how it is in the US version is a crime. The JP dub is way more superior.

This game is great. Anyone who loves rhythm games should play this. It's even for non-Japanese speaker pretty easy to understand.
The story is infuriatingly stupid & the characters are almost all rly bland and painfully one-note, the gameplay in contrast is excellent, hard and definietely challenging.

A solid Kirby game. I rly enjoyed it as a kid and even now it was FUN collecting all chests in the GAME and getting all the unlockables.

The art was also gorgeous and while some aspects of the story were questionable, I rly enjoyed it and it hooked me hard.

Great battle system, great story, charming characters, daring settings.
The only negatives are the backtracking aspects of the game and some chapters were kinda annoying.
The PIKMIN chapter, the dark village one, the stupid backtracking for the cannon and I thought the moon base dungeon was kinda annoying

What a wonderful GAME, unfortunate that it's overshadowed by it's sequel.
I had so much FUN with it. Great story, witty writing and a rly solid battle system.
I only think that the sequel perfected the PAPER MARIO battle system and sometimes this battle system is in some aspects a little bit barebones.
